There is some controversy as to whether a flying student should progress onto the next phase of training if they have not completed their solo requirements. It seems that no matter whether you are Pilot or passenger the most intense moment of flying is the take offs and landings. These are two areas that student pilots pay particularly close attention to. This doesn´t mean that there can´t be other issues once the plane is in the air, but statistics show most problems occur in take offs and landings. Out of the two, more accidents occur during landing. Interestingly enough though if the accident occurs during take off it appears to be far more serious.

During your flight school attendance, you are going to carefully and consistently cover every bit of material that is going to be needed for the ultimate outcome. This being your check ride for obtaining your Private license. One thing you will very quickly hear about is the GPS system. This is not a historical piece of equipment and yes, you will be required to use them. The only reason there is no repetitive teaching on them is that the knowledge of them is not a requirement for your practical test. This is not something devious that your flight school is trying to pull off. In fact, many pilots do not even use them.

Are you a flying aspirant? If you have a passion for flying an aircraft then you need to enroll yourself at a helicopter training school. As I read the marker at the site in Point Pleasant, West Virginia where the Sliver Bridge once stood, I couldn´t help but wonder what the townsfolk think about the connection that has been drawn to the Mothman sightings. Forty-plus years later, many of them are still suffering from the loss of loved ones on that cold December night. The bridge memorial makes no mention of the Mothman. And the plaque at the Mothman monument a few blocks away makes no mention of the bridge. Good taste and a sense of reverence dictate that. There are many theories connecting the two events. One is that for a year-and-a-half the residents of Point Pleasant suffered from a mass hysteria that came to an end when a terrible tragedy brought them all to their senses.
