I find it extremely sad how technology is destroying true musicianship nowadays, and how the importance of a strong musical education is taking a backseat. Nowadays, it is truly pathetic how people are becoming "musicians" overnight, for the sake of getting cheap popularity and temporary fame, with the help of nasty artificial technology like loops and auto-tuners. Please note that I lovingly play every single note of music and every single instrument in every single composition of mine with my own hands, without the aid of any kind of technology, and I think it is sad that I am perhaps the only musician of my generation in this country who is making ALL of my music manually, without the assistance of ANY kind of technology or artificial devices. Nowadays, thanks to nasty technological aids such as loops, or even unethical means such as downloading music of the internet or copying other's tunes, some people with virtually no knowledge of music and who don't even know how to play a musical instrument, are becoming "music composers" overnight. If this is the prevalent philosophy, does it mean that people now only want to perform music in order to become famous, instead of being propelled by a genuine desire to learn more about music itself?

Bangladesh has failed to uphold true democratic values and its politics is currently being dominated by two dynastic families. With the increase in lawlessness, the country would plunge into anarchy. To save the country from the imminent gloom, democracy must be put into practice before long. Otherwise, the consequence would be dreadful for the country and the world.

It is even rumored that Bangladeshi policymakers have secretly signed an agreement with India allowing New Delhi in erecting the Tipaimukh Barrage. I am not really willing to buy this rumor, as am not ready to consider our politicians as betrayers of that level, but of course, would like to surely investigate such serious allegations. If in real, any such secret agreement was at all signed, the signatories of such black documents will be labeled as "National Enemies" for such treacherous deeds. Whatever the political identities may be of any such politician, the heroic people of Bangladesh will ultimately stand up against such crime, if it has already been committed by signing the treaty.

Because of total failure of the foreign minister, prospect of Bangladeshi workers in the Middle East has been greatly decreasing while the doors for the locals in getting fresher job opportunities in Malaysia has already been shut-off. She has been amongst the front-players in playing nasty with the issue of Dr. Muhammed Yunus and his post in Grameen Bank, which already has greatly tarnished Bangladesh´s image in the international arena, as well has put Dhaka into awkward situation with Washington in particular. Bangladesh also serves as a logistical hub for transnational extremist groups such as the Arakan Rohingya National Organization [ARNO] and the Rohingya Solidarity Organization [RSO]. These are Myanmar Muslims who claim to be fighting for an autonomous Muslim region in Myanmar's Arakan state. Terrorist groups based in Pakistan and parts of Kashmir, such as the HuJI and the Lashkar-e-Toiba, also managed to set up operational bases in Bangladesh, and a number of Jihadist terrorists entered India via Bangladesh. Attacks in Delhi, Bangalore and Varanasi have all revealed Bangladesh as an important link in the Islamic terrorist network of South Asia.

On average, one person was killed extra-judicially every four days. Odhikar categorizes these deaths under four causes: by crossfire, encounter or gun fight, which killed 37; torture, which claimed the lives of nine; beating, which killed one; and shooting, which also killed one. Among the dead were alleged criminals, political activists, university students, medical personnel and prisoners. Since January 2009, when the current government came in power, more than 132 people were murdered extra-judicially by Rapid Action Battalion, while 147 were extra-judicially killed by police.

Leaders of Bangladesh Awami League though have categorically told media a number of times that, they are strongly upholding BKSAL theory and are heading towards enforcing BKSAL system in the country. Sexual violence of female students by the male teachers is nothing new with Viqarunnisa School and College. There are similar incidents at many of the top-ranking educational institutions in the country, where, male teachers are appointed to teach female students. There is even allegation against some of the female teachers of a leading English medium school in Dhaka of doing immoral activities with the female students of engaging them are sex trade. These female teachers maintain connection with highly affluent people in the society and provide them with girls from their schools on a regular basis. Similar allegation drug addictions as well as sexual scandals are heard against the students of a private university in Dhaka. Sexual violence of female students even took place at Jahangirnagar University in Dhaka during the previous and current rule of Bangladesh Awami League.

It has also been reported that a staggeringly high proportion of army recruits come from madrassas, resulting in deepening Islamist penetration within the ranks of the Bangladeshi army.

The HUT chief, who left Bangladesh after the independence and returned in the '80s, published a book titled "This Islam is not at all Islam" in March 1996, which the government banned on May 10, 1998. He also wrote another book named 'Dajjal', where he said that Jews and Christians are the evils who should be eliminated by the Muslims. Besides, there are several leaflets and booklets on the HUT ideologies and objective. Followers of HUT do not believe in democracy and traditional government system. HUT activists use iron hammer and tobacco dust when they attack.

Political culture is unchanged if not worsened. Terrorism by the ruling party cadres is continuing. The ruling party is continuing massive offensives on Jamaat-e-Islami, while it is reluctant in taking any action against other Islamist parties in Bangladesh.

The history of democracy in Bangladesh has been very tumultuous. Currently, the leaders of two dominant parties either champion democracy or bury it depending on whether they are out of power or in power. One of the reasons why democratic process hasn't properly developed there is the lack of independence of the legislative and judicial branches and the press. If democracy fails in Bangladesh, it would bolster fundamentalism, which would bring much trouble to the world.

I am sure, those having minimal knowledge about this matter will understand the reason behind such fate of the investigation.

Freedom of media is essential for a stable democracy. In India, where democracy has already taken the shape of institution, media enjoys unimaginable freedom. In some cases, Indian media even enjoys better freedom than many of the Western nations. Bangladesh should surely learn this from India.

In fact, Bangladeshi law and law enforcement agencies are completely reluctant in according proper assistance to the members of religious minorities in all such cases of abduction and forceful conversion.
