My career in journalism began while I was a staff writer for the student-run newspaper The Journal at Parkersburg High School in Parkersburg, West Virginia. I went on to be a columnist, as well as, Editor-in-Chief of The Journal.
My college career began at West Virginia University at Parkersburg, where I was a staff writer and Advertising Manager for the student-run newspaper, The Chronicle.
