Maureen Johnson
Maureen Johnson was born and raised in southern New Jersey but is married and lives in southern Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and an MSED and Ph.D. in Health Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Johnson has recently been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and has started a website to provide information and support for people with an ASD. Her feature "Independent Study" addresses her observations outside of her job as a health education instructor.
