First invented in 1947, Hot Water Extraction, commonly known as Steam Cleaning, is the most widely used and recognized process for cleaning carpets today. Consequently, because Hot Water Extraction is the oldest and most widely recognized carpet cleaning process, the question must be asked, ´Is 1940s carpet cleaning technology eco-friendly green carpet cleaning?´
The scientific answer to that question is a resounding ´No´ for many reasons. A few of which we will address is this article.

The good news: The percentage of Americans dying from heart disease is down, due to advances in diagnosis and treatment. The bad news: Americans still have it. Why is this? Americans are getting older and fatter! As the baby boomer population enters the retirement zone, they are also gaining weight and becoming more sedentary. With two of the biggest risk factors for cardiovascular disease being age and weight, it is imperative that we address what we can do change the odds to our favor.
