Roy Ulrich
Roy Ulrich is a public interest lawyer, consumer advocate, and public radio broadcaster who lives in Santa Monica. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in Communications and Public Policy, Mr. Ulrich went on to receive his law degree from California Western University in San Diego in 1969.
Mr. Ulrich's field of interest is political reform law. He specializes in drafting legislation and initiatives on behalf of public interest groups. In that capacity, he serves as President of the California Tax Reform Association and as Vice Chair of the board of directors of California Common Cause.
Currently, he hosts a weekly public affairs program on Pacifica station KPFK in Los Angeles, which focuses on law and politics. He is also a researcher at Demos, a New York-based public policy organization.
Mr. Ulrich has written for the editorial pages of the Los Angeles Times and The Nation magazine, among other publications.
