In Greek religion, Zeus was considered the highest who had oversight over the universe. Some of the titles they gave him were: King of the Gods, Father of Gods and men, God of sky and thunder. All those titles are similar to the titles other natives in different parts of the world give to whatever spirit they consider as King, and he/it/her allows them to worship lesser spirits along with him/it/her. Only Elohim (YAH) of the Jewish Scripture (Old and New Testament) commands His people to reject every idol (physical or mental). Islam tried to copy the Hebrew God

Often times church-goers have responded to me with the following type of statements: "No church is perfect, just keep your eyes on Jesus." "Don´t worry about what church-goers or leadership are saying or doing, just keep your eyes on God." "Don´t worry about the church; simply go to church." Those statements are simply excuses to back away from the serious work God has called His own to.

Some who claim to be Christian think they will know (due to a wonder/experience) when they encounter the true God. But without Truth as your life and foundation, signs and wonders will lead you to a deceiving spirit.

This month (March 09) i came across a Newsweek article online titled "Newsweek: The Global Elite". A Nigerian Pentecostal preacher (E.A. Adeboye) was on that list. After reading the section about E.A. Adeboye and especially what people had to say, i included my comments.

Most Calvary Chapels are in the U.S. and Europe. Most of their affiliates are Evangelicals.
Because animals are so precious to them, most Calvary Chapel/Evangelicals teach that there will be pets in Heaven. But in Matthew 22:29-31, Jesus says: "… You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection humans neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in Heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God …" There will be no husband-wife relationship in Heaven, but God will allow Christians to have their pets in Heaven? ?
