Vanessa Lee Gaudette

Vanessa Gaudette has an Environmental Illness called Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and has been homeless since the end of April 2009. She was injured on the job through continued low dose exposure through an initial accident that occured in 2005 and another injury that occured in 2007.

Vanessa has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and has spent most of her professional career in the insurance industry.

She has travelled to the Environmental Health Clinic in Dallas, Texas and the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona looking for treatment to help her manage her illness.

Presently, she is back in Montana and recieving treatment in the hopes that this will be "the one" that will help manage her MCS so that she can go on with her life.

Since becoming homeless, she has become a new, passionate advocate for the Environmentally Ill that are homeless and is seeking to gather information on this population that is not counted and get an accurate demographic to show how pervasive this problem is.

The articles she has decided to write are the journals she has written while traveling and documenting what she is experiencing as a person dealing with a chronic illness (Envirnomental Illness/MCS) and struggling with the day to day survival of homelessness.

She also maintains a blog at http//eiandhomeless.blogspot.com.
