In the wake of a recession and the housing bubble bursting, America will have a hard time trusting Republicans again. And they have good reason not to. The Democrats have a perfect chance to win back some trust. They better not blow it. If one believes that government - especially domestically - should be by and for the people, then one would want the Federal Reserve to be audited and fully transparent to the citizens of the United States. It's time to stop living in government secrecy.
