The double-plus-good world that might have been
Ultimately, when our "visitors" reveal themselves and our governments must finally disclose their long kept secrets of a tenuous stewardship, we may understand the truth of the depth of that presence that keeps us unnecessarily at one anotherīs throat. It has been with us all along.
...they will look back on us, and be happy indeed that our thinking did not survive to their times. We look back now on the dark ages, when ecclesial authority bound men´s minds and denied them the benefits of scientific discovery and freedom of thought. Those in the 22nd century will look back on this our dark age of materialism amidst scarcity and wonder how they survived.
If we do find ourselves in a īcultural trapī, or even some kind of quarantine, how do we respond? If we begin to see that the reason we cannot seem to actually fix the fundamental problems we face, and that all our treatments focus only upon the symptoms of our illness, we may find a cure.
The same Laurel and Hardy approach to visible government is not at work when it comes to National Security...
Our government is charged, by those of us with the power to do so, to protect our way of life capitalistic consumerism. Any science that threatens this mandate would not become visible to the naked public. No matter how beneficial that science may be to the masses, what ills it would alleviate, what injustices it would right, this science will be maintained for the purposes of control and to further aid in maintaining stability and national security the dominance of the powerful of our country over her citizens, her neighbors and her adversaries.
Part 1 - Free energy might ironically be the harbinger of yet another Dark Age, similar to that following the fall of the Roman Empire, when the control over peopleīs lives vanished, and they were left to develop their own order and security, and find another meaning for their lives, apart from rendering to Caesar.
While most exopoliticians agree the Disclosure Event is a spiritual awakening, Dr. Steven Greer seems to think that spiritual beings are somehow not involved in the process on earth.
Suppose for a moment you are a highly sophisticated visitor from a powerful, seafaring country. You have arrived on an island, isolated from the rest of the world, and filled with aboriginal people of disparate tribes and customs.
You are an explorer and a trader and make your living by developin...
Full Disclosure might illicit some measure of justifiable paranoia.
The peculiar emotion of love binds us to a hope for the future, if only for our childrenīs sake. Despite all information to the contrary, we believe this future will be good for our descendants. Our action, or inaction, is a function of that belief. We willingly accept that this course we are on is the rational way to live, and we inculcate this belief in our children. We are domesticated, placated by this idea of freedom and a "higher standard of living" for our children, and will not easily agree to alter that course in the absence of traumatic conditions or cataclysmic developments on a global scale. Americans and capitalists in general may be similar in many ways to the Neanderthals. Like these ancient runners-up, capitalists will be replaced with the next generation of humans, equipped to adapt to their new world of ideas and technology. The Neanderthals undoubtedly loved their children just as much as we Cro-Magnons, but we nonetheless replaced them.
Looking into the future is difficult and projections are frequently wrong, being based as they usually are on the status quo. But sometimes, a view of the way things are can help with a kind of simulated clairvoyant foresight. Little argument exists against the empirical view that things are in bad ...
For the last forty years, work has been progressing exponentially in the field of nanotechnology. At the outset of this epoch, while accolades built to a commotion, scientists, who knew the field well, advised colleagues to proceed with caution. Of course this warning fell on deaf ears, and science ...
Who is really keeping the lid on the extraterrestrial presense? Perhaps we are looking at the wrong agency.
One problematic issue regarding the abandonment of secrecy surrounding extraterrestrial influence on our planet is the post-disclosure worldview. While that subject is on the minds of those who keep secrets secret, it seems to have evaded, for the most part, the thoughts of the more militant member...
Many who research the phenomenon associated with unidentified flying objects and the probable extraterrestrial nature of some such events feel that there has been an unnecessarily high level of secrecy and deception. While some governments have released information about their several UFO experienc...
When a storm threatens, thank goodness for the magic of our times!
Commercial chickens and our society compared
American business seems to be making about as much sense as it's foreign and fiscal policy. Perhaps there is a solution after all.
