Be honest, are you one of those people who crave success, but getting either nowhere or making very little headway?
Why do you suppose that is?
Do you think it really matters what you believe? Or to put it in another way, do you think it matters what your beliefs are in your financial area, business or career, or your relationships? What about in your health and fitness area?
If you are a person who believes that your world is full of cruel people, then that's what you will see – a world full of cruel people. On the other hand, should you believe the world has plenty of kind and considerate people, then that is what you will see, a world bursting with kind and considerate people.
Do you think that it really matters what your core, fundamental beliefs are?
Or to put in another way, do you think your fundamental beliefs have any influence I your financial area, or your career or business, or your relationships? Or what your health and fitness beliefs are?
Are you battling trying to achieve a particular goal in your life? Have you been wrestling with a certain objective for a while now and not making any noteworthy progress?
Many people either tried to give up smoking or did all they could to lose weight, but in the long term were unsuccessful.
Why is that?
When you have the necessary knowledge and know-how on ways to become self confident, all that remains is for you to take consistent action.
By being committed to taking action daily or whenever the need arises, you will have all the self confidence that you want, and more.
I can tell the people sitting adjacent from me on the double-decker bus bound for Victoria train station that they had just left a 'motivational' seminar. They were all hyped up, juiced and excited. I can 'see' their bodies radiating with anticipation to apply what they had learned.
My ears perked up when I heard one say to the other, "Tomorrow I shall start the journey of getting to know myself."
Quite a lot of confident and dynamic people that you hear about in the media or in magazines and books have long-learned to feel courageous and confident. In fact, most of them weren't necessarily born with self confidence being one of their great qualities.
More than likely, a number of them had to learn how to feel and act with self confidence.
The importance of having and being self confident is talked about all the time.
But is it really that important?
Did you know that you always determine and judge your self confidence by how you performed in a similar situation sometime in the past, whether it was a week ago, a month ago or as a young person?
Those people who do not have self confidence end up not achieving very much in life. On the other hand, those who possess a good level of self confidence achieve many things; their aspirations, goals and dreams.
If you manage or supervise others, both in the home as well as in the work environment, you may find the information in this article useful. Staff can often seem to let you down, behave in ways that appear to be inefficient, conflictual or disinterested, and this is an additional and unnecessary burden on top of all the other issues you face at work.

The importance of work right now, when money is less available than we are accustomed to, when all around us people are being made redundant, has multiple facets.
The most obvious reason is that you want to keep money coming in, even if it´s only a small amount; and when we work, not only are we making money but we may be inclined to spend less because we´re busy.
For you to succeed, to be happy and fulfilled in your life, you must have self confidence. To make a presentation, to hold a meeting, to invite friends over to your place for a party, for you to attend a social networking event, whatever it is, you will need to have self confidence.
Low self confidence can stand in your way just when you need it most; where you cannot be at your best, where you start to stumble or stutter, where you start looking down at your shoes, where you fidget or turn away and walk back into your limited comfort zone.
Well, I have great news for you!
Year after year we sit down with our special New Year notebooks, a bunch of coloured pens, and we start our list of resolutions, which seem to be
surprisingly familiar.
We´ve definitely seen this list before; was it last year, or maybe the year before?
Most likely it´s a variation on the same list we´ve been writing for years and years.
Many people are under the impression that everyone except themselves has self confidence. They believe they are the unlucky ones, the doomed ones, so they sluggishly walk around day in and day out mesmerised with the thought that the happy and successful people, commonly known as ´the others´, were born with self confidence.
This may come as a surprise to you; self confidence is all about what you think and feel. Self confidence is nothing more than the way you see yourself and what you say to yourself.
Most successes and achievements in life come from your ability to feel certain that you can accomplish what you set out to achieve. Self confidence is the gateway to success; to the life that you wish to lead and to the dreams that you desire to live.
Do you find losing weight frustrating and stressful? Are you anxious about your appearance, especially with your summer holiday so close, and you just can´t seem to get rid of the excess fat?
It´s a beautiful summer´s day, the sun is bright and it is hot outside, yet she wears a thick bulky sweatshirt and baggy track pants. "I wish I could be like everybody else and wear a t-shirt and shorts. Oh well, I suppose it´s not meant to be." Does this describe your feelings, too?
Does this often happen to you: You are handed a task or project straight after lunch that you have to complete by the end of the day. No later. What do you do? Do you mumble, groan or perhaps even curse under your breath? Do you think, How on earth can I get this done?
How motivated are you to do what you want to be successful? To go to the gym, to apply for a new job, to lose weight, quit smoking, start a new relationship or to get up and do things around the house? Do you find that your days drag from one moment to the next, and you have no drive to get things done?
How does your throat feel the day after a night of heavy smoking and drinking? What about your endless coughing? Did you sleep well or did you toss and turn most of the night, your chest feeling tight?
Did you know that by being aware of, and by controlling your thoughts you can achieve more in months that you did in the past few years?
Are you not where you want to be in your life? You want happiness and success, yet you can´t seem to get any closer to achieving that wonderful life, even after years of trying?
You will not be able to succeed or achieve anything significant in your life without having motivation, the fuel that pushes you to get things done. You will either remain where you are at now, or you will progress through life at a slow pace.
Are you happy with your life? Do you find joy in the things that you do? If not, how would you find joy and happiness? And once you find it, do you think you can keep it and be happy all the time?
Is it a problem for you to get out of bed first thing in the morning? Are you slow at getting your day started?
Is your morning cough irritating you? Are you constantly short of breath? Do you find smoking in the rain a chore, a pain you can do without?
Do you find you are missing out on the great things in life? How often do you get frustrated and not see the beauty that surrounds you?
Any time that you feel you lack confidence you are not alone.
Yet it is important to realise that there are ways that you can triumph over this obstacle and gain the confidence that you seek.
For you to get ahead in life and achieve more, you will need to side-step or eliminate the nagging voice that stands in your way. The voice that moves you away from getting things done, the voice that distracts you from what you are working on. Procrastination will keep you where you are. Learn how to be rid of that 'stay where I am' attitude.
Is there an event or situation that makes you feel uncomfortable? Where you feel uneasy and unconfident?
By using a simple tool you can overcome the uncomfortable feeling where you lack confidence. And best of all, you can use that technique anywhere and anytime.
Wouldn't it be great to be able to capture and live that winning feeling every day or when ever you want to? And furthermore, you can use that winning feeling to achieve more successes in your life. It's simple and enjoyable.
Let me ask you these two questions: How badly do you want your goals, to live your dreams? How motivated are you to be consistently persistent to go after your goals and dreams until they are achieved?
How much you want your goals and dreams determines the strength of your motivation. It is that strength that will steadfastly pursue your dreams irrespective of any challenges, setbacks, oppositions or confrontations.
Determination and perseverance play an integral part of the success game. And for you to be determined to realise your goals and dreams, you will need to have hard-wearing motivation that is robust enough to carry you through that journey to attainment.
Do you make use of the confidence that is already within you, that you are blessed with?
If you don't, find out how you can by utilising the confidence you have in one area and spread it to another area, much like the Domino effect.
Acquire and retain that beautiful and euphoric winning feeling of confidence and success every moment of every day.
You capture those confident feelings when you have a small or short-term success. This success may be as big or as small as you want it to be.
A winning feeling is a confident feeling, one that reinforces success time after time.
Nearly all great successes are the result of detailed preparation and the feeling of absolute certainty that you can accomplish what it is that you want to achieve in any line of business or in any area of your life.
A vital key to success and achievement is having and becoming confident in that you do. Confidence is an indispensable part of your growth and success. With self-confidence, you can surge ahead to fulfil your true potential, achieve performance excellence and live the life of your dreams.
