A parent´s expectations are too high or they compare one sibling to another and the child feels inferior at home plate—whether on the field or at the family dinner table. Because I see this increased interest in of the topic of children seeing ghosts, I feel all of us who work with children need up-to-date answers. To provide these answers I address a variety of questions that I receive every month on my blogs (www.kidswhoseeghosts.com and http://intuitiveparenting.wordpress.com. The foremost question from parents is "Is my child crazy?" The second and third most common questions are, "How can I help my child?" and "How can I help myself?" The Academy for Coaching Parents International has lowered tuition fees by $800 and shortened training time so that Certified Coaches for Parents are available now to assist families. Counselors, nannies, mediators, teachers, parents, ministers or educators are invited to attend the seminar and telelasses or take independent study to become an ACPI Certified Coach for Parents and Families in six months instead of twelve months. Program graduates learn how to help families manage stressors, behavioral problems and communication issues as they escalate in times of economic downturn.
