"It is a sobering thought that, if the world had stopped population growth by 1960—when it was half the present level—we would now be a long way toward the "50 percent to 70 percent reduction" called for by the IPCC," said Grant. "If it had stopped at two billion, we would not have a problem."
"When it, [transition to alternative energy], comes, the transition will be an immense, expensive and technologically challenging undertaking, and rising energy prices themselves will make it more expensive," said Grant. "The energy transition will lead to some fundamental shifts in economic relationships."
Dr. Otis Graham, Unguarded Gates, said it best, "Most Western elites continue urging the wealthy West not to stem the migrant tide, but to absorb our global brothers and sisters until their horrid ordeal has been endured and shared by all--ten billion humans packed onto an ecologically devastated planet."
Finally, the underground economy includes ID theft, ID forgeries, income tax evasion, fraudulent Earned Income Tax Credits applications, drunken driving, no licenses, no insurance and total chaos within police departments in Arizona.
This entire problem was created by our Federal Government that failed to enforce the basic laws that protect the sovereignty of our nation, our states, and the general welfare of our citizens; which by the way, includes protecting our Mexican-American citizens. Geez!
I pulled my bike up from the gravel shoulder and grasped the bars with both hands. Looking down, I slipped my right foot into the pedal strap. I pressed hard. The wheels gleamed as they advanced. For the first time in my life, I noticed that the spokes go forward and they go backward simultaneously. They rotate up as well as down while the bike travels along the road. There is no power stroke for the spokes. They merely carry the load placed upon them.
Behind us, Death Valley stretched out in shadows moving across the canyons and a half-moon cut its quiet splendor into the darkening sky. A coyote howled. Our campfire crackled in the hushed evening air while rice and vegetables steamed on the flames. We were camped on a high plateau away from civilization. Doug and I were out in the middle of nowhere.
It was a nice place to be.
"Forty-five years later, over a million immigrants come into our country every year causing millions of American workers to lose their jobs," said Goode. "With unemployment above 10 percent, no one can say with a straight face that "immigrants are doing the jobs Americans won´t do." Without that justification, a moratorium is just plain old common sense."
"In the early years of our work on the immigration question, we at The Social Contract viewed legal and illegal as fairly separate and distinct phenomena," said Tanton. "They seemed to require different measures for their control.
After 30 years of the U.S. Congress and four presidents failing to enforce our immigration laws-- Arizona, led by State Senator Russell Pearce and a brave band of lawmakers—passed SB 1070, the most diligent and forceful immigration law in the nation.
Unfortunately, in western countries, it jumps! If the USA continues adding that next 100 million, that means 100,000,000 people X's 12.6 acres of wilderness must be destroyed-and that equals a whopping 1.26 billion acres of land! No wonder we see 2,500 animals suffering extinction every decade in the USA. We're destroying habitat for other creatures at an astounding rate of speed. I think it's well over 3,000 acres a day just for paved roads in the USA-24/7.
"Fertilizer: the world is caught in a trap," said Grant. "It produces more and more commercial fertilizer to grow more food for more people. Worldwide fertilizer use rose six times from 25 million nutrient tons in 1960 to 150 million tons in 1990 and it may rise to 225 million nutrient tons by 2020.
To give you an idea of how crazy our human predicament: Bangladesh, with a landmass the size of Iowa, carries an astounding 144 million people. Demographers predict they will add another 100 million in 40 years with their extraordinary birthrates. Canadian environmentalist Tim Murray laments, "Humans are too dumb to survive."
"In the meantime, the innumerates act as though gasoline, natural gas and water will always be with us at low cost and in unlimited quantities. Crude oil prices have increased from $20 a barrel in 2002 to $100 a barrel in 2008. This largely suggests that the world production of conventional oil peaked and is starting its inevitable decline, just as was predicted in 1956.
"We must remember that "Smart Growth" and "Dumb Growth" both destroy the environment with good taste," said Bartlett.
"The spatial distribution of human populations is importantly related to such phenomena as urban areas insufficiently dense for mass transit and loss of prime agricultural land to development," Tanton said. "Conspicuous by its absence from the environmental literature, however, is the role of international migration plays in the demographic and other problems facing mankind."
Millions of landlords rent to illegal aliens, which also violates federal laws.
In other words, hundreds of thousands of American citizens lie, cheat and steal from America´s tax coffers, from city and state treasuries, and they cheat lawful taxpayers who pay for schooling, medical and incarceration costs of over 20 million illegal aliens.
Cities breed a collective unhealthiness featured every evening on the news in every major city in the world. The bigger the city, the more killings and other aberrant behaviors. The smaller the city, the less the mayhem. And, when you visit cities of less than 1,000, they suffer virtually no crime whatsoever. Everybody knows each other and community binds them to a common tribe and identity.
In "America´s nastiest toxic waste dumps" by Chris Weber, he said, "Superfund is both an actual fund and a shorthand term for the list of America´s nastiest toxic waste sites. One in two Americans lives within ten miles of a Superfund site. Currently, there are about 1,300 sites on the list.
When you add the 82,000 known chemicals created by humanity in the past 100 years, and all of them end up in our oceans, is it any wonder that the USDA tells pregnant women to limit their fish intake to less than one serving a month? How about none at all?!
Not mentioned, but increasing in numbers as the human race accelerates its
own populations across the globe-an astounding 18 million human beings
starve to death or die of starvation related diseases every year.
The United States adds 8,490 people, net gain, every day of the year. That equals 3.1 million annually. That equates to 100 million added by 2035 at current immigration-driven growth rates.
Every year, 400,000 pregnant women enter the United States illegally to birth their babies on American soil. Their children become instant citizens and their mothers become instant wards of the American taxpayer.
"Unrestrained mass immigration—with one million legal immigrants and at least three times as many illegal immigrants entering the nation each year—and the elevated birth rates among those immigrants has, in just a quarter of a century, set the stage to remake the ethnic, cultural and political dynamic of the United States."
Every year, 400,000 pregnant women enter the United States illegally to birth their babies on American soil. Their children become instant citizens and their mothers become instant wards of the American taxpayer.
Our own grave overpopulation crisis need not manifest within the United States, either, if we change course. Like Captain Edward John Smith of the Titanic, he could have slowed down or steamed further south to avoid his fate.
Every year, 400,000 pregnant women enter the United States legally and illegally to birth their babies on American soil. Their children become instant citizens and their mothers become instant wards of the American taxpayer.
From 1964 to 2006, the United States, via mass immigration, grew from 193 million to 300 million. It added over 100 million people in a 40 year span. Today, America stands at 309 million people in 2010. It adds 3.1 million people annually. It races toward adding 100 million people by 2035—a scant 25 years from now.
And yet, at the Copenhagen Conference on Climate Change, not one single, solitary, pea-pickin´ world leader mentioned the fact that humans add an unimaginable number of themselvs to the planet annually; and, that no amount of cap and trade, conservation or even alternative energy could prevent desecration of Earth´s environment. Never have I seen so many ´dead´ people sitting up in their seats with their eyes open.
He wrote back, "While this may lessen the amount of people in our country, it will also place America at a competitive disadvantage moving forward. For that reason, I do not support eliminating the H-1B and H 2-B Visas."
The greatest question facing Americans today in the arena of legal and illegal immigration is: how many is too many? When is enough enough? How many more of the world´s poor can we handle?
A recent Seattle Times op-ed said that Washington State´s (illegal) immigrants are "indispensable." In other words, "We need our 21st century slave labor in order to ensure that our corporations make obscene profits to the detriment of our own citizens."
Bicycling. I like it for the movement. I don't know if it's poetry in motion, but it is poetry in me. The crank-set is the engine of my travels and the wheels turn with every stroke of my legs. Each day is an experience of movement like the reels of a movie slowly unwinding into scenes of cities, people, mountains, or clouds gathering in the sky.
"Never give in, never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." Churchill
Yet, each month, your U.S. Senators and House members in your state will not lift a finger to stop legal and illegal immigration. Countless U.S. citizen employers hire illegals for work. Worse, most of you will vote them back into office while your own kids and this country race toward the bottom of the economic, social and cultural barrel. It makes no sense to me!
"Haiti, long a nearly-failed state, will likely fall even lower toward that unenviable condition. Lots of other countries around the world are in the same pickle. Is Yemen one? Is Afghanistan one? Is North Korea one? Will Pakistan become one? Take your pick!"
It´s like our Congress consists of a bunch of idiot high school kids in a chemistry class. With no teacher in the room, everybody throws some chemicals into a big pot to see what happens. At some point, the chemicals erode the pot at the bottom or blow the entire room to kingdom come!
"I started dating a Muslim, she converted to Christianity, then we married, had a child etc. But immediately after marriage, she "went back" to Islam. The family began its process of alienation, then after our child was born, they contrived all manner of lies and deception to shield me from my child."
Look across the American unemployment landscape to see 15 to 20 million Americans without jobs, without hope and without a way out. Witness 35 million Americans subsisting on food stamps. Millions of U.S. teenagers cannot ´buy´ a job. Watch accelerating home foreclosures for millions of Americans.
Whether it is Islamic or Mexican culture transforming America out of itself and into other cultural paradigms, a staggering price will be paid, especially for women. If you look at the American Indians, they lost their land, their cultures, their languages, their religions and their freedoms. I see their fate becoming our fate if we continue mass immigration into America.
Birds are chirping above me as the light fades from the sky and a cool wind whispers through the trees making them creak as they sway back and forth. The campfire chases away the darkness in a small circle surrounded by towering redwoods.
Gaubatz and Sperry conducted a six-month penetration of the Council on American-Islamic Relations that resulted in the collection of thousands of pages of revealing documents as well as inside secrets.
Fire Napolitano for being inept, incompetent and out of touch. She reminds me of a five foot woman that cannot swim, but she jumped into a 10 foot swimming pool with no lifeguards. She´s in over her head and she´s taking our whole country down with her. She proved herself an inept governor of Arizona and as a ´political appointee´, her incompetence could get more of us killed.
"According to Shari'a--the body of legal rulings that defines how a Muslim should behave in all circumstances--deception is not only permitted in certain situations but may be deemed obligatory in others."
"Next year, 2011, the first massive class of boomers will line up for full Medicare and full Social Security benefits at a time when the coffers are drying up and the U.S. is running a $1.75 TRILLION annual deficit. That line of boomers that will begin next year, and who expect to have their entitlement tickets punched, is 17 years long!
A mile out of town, I was still chuckling to myself over Ugly. I never could understand what makes an alcoholic, but in this case, he had brightened my day with his bravado. In my travels, I've seen rich people, poor people, regular people--and what Ugly said is true--the bottom line in life is being happy.
My frozen breath vapors hung in the air briefly before descending as crystals toward the ground. I battled to keep from bursting with excitement. Within seconds, one of the other penguins pecked my new friend on the rump. He drew back.
In the Seattle, Washington area, Muslim Maurice Clemmons killed four police officers while they sat eating breakfast. According to Allah, since all of them were non-believers, Allah directed Clemmons to kill them in cold blood. Muhammad the Prophet made dozens of references to kill non-believers in the name of Islam.
Americans fantasize that they remain safe from Islamic terrorists because U.S. military forces conquered Iraq and wage an endless war in Afghanistan. Except, last week five American Muslim terrorists surfaced in Pakistan—asking to be trained for jihad.
The sooner America closes down the door to Islamic immigration, the sooner it stands a small chance of surviving Islam´s religious fervor in the 21st century. If not, we will follow Europe into the hellhole of Islamic incursion.
The wicked witch of the North swirled around on her black heels and stomped back into the house, probably to file her fangs and polish her claws. I felt like splitting that second and Kevin would be on my tail. But Joe regained himself and herded the rest of us to the back yard where he made sure we pitched our tents.
"The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, or preventing all possibility of it continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities and languages." President Teddy Roosevelt, 1908
"Just as guarding territory manages population, so it contributes to eagle survival, one child per woman behaviors would be a mechanism to manage the human population to ensure human survival."
America´s overpopulation poster-child State of California adds 1,700 people net gain daily on their way to adding 20 million in 30 years! They add 400 vehicles 24/7!
From two years ago, the six Fort Dix terrorists followed their progression of jihad on America. They followed the tenets of fundamentalist Islam. As their numbers grow in America, more fundamentalist Muslims force their way into every sector, every level and every aspect of American society.
In Clayton County, Georgia, January 26, 2009, a Pakistani immigrant father, Chaudry Rashid strangled his daughter for not accepting his choice of a husband. She wanted a divorce. She was 14 when she died. "Man Accused Of Killing Daughter For Family Honor" by Jamie Tarabay of NPR. "Honor killings are old rites of murder within families, committed because of some perceived dishonor or shame. The United Nations estimates around 5,000 deaths occur each year — mostly of women, mostly in South Asia and the Middle East."
From a reader in Dearborn, Michigan: "I just read your column "Why Take the Risk of Muslim Immigration" by Don Collins and I wholeheartedly agree. You see, I'm a life-long resident of Dearborn, Michigan – the capital of Islam USA for really almost the entire 20th century, so living with Muslims is nothing new to me.
Qur'an (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" You might deduce that Muhammad did not enjoy any peaceful or spiritual brotherhood with humanity.
Are we willing to negate our culture, our laws and our way of life to allow them theirs? In 2009, we speed toward an Islamic future here in the former United States of America. Perhaps in 50 years, they will change our country to the United States of Islam.
"Rapid population decline (RPD) appears to be "the" path to a viable future for our kids, our nation, humankind, and our ecosystem."
At the book´s end, Steiner creates a future world where ´Bill citizen´ doesn´t own a car, but travels by train everywhere in the USA. Airplanes faded from the skies years ago. He boards nuclear powered ships for vacations in Europe. He monitors his electrical usage. He eats foods grown locally.
Last week, in Glendale, Arizona, an immigrant father, Faleh Hassan Almaleki, ran down with his Jeep truck and killed his daughter Noor for being too "Westernized." Her crime? She liked to wear jeans. A sane person might ask, "Why did he immigrate to America and why did he bring his daughter?"
In her book, THE TROUBLE WITH ISLAM, Canadian Muslim Irshad Manji wrote, "My cause is the democracy of thought and freedom of expression…I want to give my fellow Muslims permission to think…can you tell me why Islam is at the heart of terrorism and human-rights violations?"
At this point in time, with 10 million legal and unlawful immigrants, California suffers a $24 billion debt. It cannot pay its bills. It sinks deeper into collapse as it adds 1,700 people per day, every day of the year.
"Teen drug dealers have become the symbol of success in the barrio and ghettos of American cities. They have the money, women, cars and respect of their peers. Even when they are arrested or shot, someone who looks just like them takes their place. As good ministers and others urge young people to stay in school and away from drugs and gangs, these symbols undermine much of their efforts. Why study hard when a youth can make decent money selling drugs and their employer does not ask for a high school diploma or where France is?
At one time, as a kid, I flipped a dime to the cashier to watch Vincent Price scare the heck out of me at a movie. I pulled out a nickel to pay for a Snickers candy bar. I bought a hamburger for 15 cents. I bought a school lunch for 35 cents. When I hit 16 with my ´57 Chevy, I paid 29 cents a gallon of gas. I gobbled popcorn for a dime while I watched John Wayne in Rio Bravo.
When it comes to good health, Steiner said that rising prices will mean a trimmer America. Fat people, and America owns the record for obesity at 150 million plus, will walk or ride a bike. Obesity costs Americans $117 billion annually in early mortality and medical expenses.
If we fail to stabilize U.S. population gracefully via immigration moratorium, the next added 100 million promises to cause water shortages we cannot solve, energy crises that grow irreversible and quality of life issues that degrade the American way of life. In the end, either we take action or Mother Nature will take action, brutally. She always bats last!
Unfortunately, for the past 20 years, both individuals failed Black America. Reid and Pelosi encouraged, without batting an eye, the slave labor invasion from Mexico. Both voted for insourcing, outsourcing and offshoring of jobs that displaced and undermined millions of Black Americans.
The inherent fraud being foisted upon Americans as our leaders encourage unlawful workers and immigrants to this country—astounds anyone that abides by the rule of law. Reid and Pelosi belong to an elite club of liars and cheats. They won´t enforce our immigration laws, but they will make us pay for those who broke our laws.
Overwhelming and irrefutable facts show illegal and massive unrestricted immigration harm our country. We face gridlocked and air polluted cities, environmental degradation, crime, health care problems and education nightmares. Massive immigration creates costs too high for American working families.
When will leaders inject concepts like: "International Sustainable Population Policy"; "International Carrying Capacity Policy"; "International Water Usage Policy"; "International Environmental Impact Policy" for all countries?
Denver, Colorado--Last night, in the Mercury Café on California Street, a meeting took place that will change the future of America. Dana Miller, head of www.transitioncolorado.ning.com, introduced documentary film director, Dave Gardner, to an eager audience. He strode to the stage with the conf...
This civilization stands in the crosshairs of a 21st century phenomenon unknown heretofore to humanity: massive, unrelenting and incompatible immigration that brews a volatile and incendiary mixture that faces all our progeny. We face an unsustainable future via adding 100 million people to our already overloaded civilization, yet few understand it or ´get it´ or ´offer´ solutions. Most ignore it or deny it.
Whereas McNamara lived a long existence, he cut short 58,300 American soldiers´ lives and horribly disfigured the lives of 350,000 more from war wounds. On the Vietnamese side, he killed several million people and poisoned the countryside with Agent Orange. McNamara created orphans, widows, widowers, amputees, refugees and more human misery than most Americans can imagine.
The mission of LEAP is to reduce the multitude of unintended harmful consequences resulting from fighting the war on drugs and to lessen the incidence of death, disease, crime, and addiction by ultimately ending drug prohibition.
The next time you´re at the grocery checkout, they may ask, "Paper or plastic?" You answer as you pull them out, "I´ve got my cotton bags, thank you." You may spearhead a 10 cent bottle deposit/return law in your state that duplicates Michigan´s highly successful law.
Americans must push for a 10 year moratorium on all immigration. After the time-out, a maximum of 100,000 annually allowed into the USA! Other countries must become responsible for their birth rates, education and citizens. And, those citizens of Mexico must be accountable for their actions and their country.
Sooner or later, we will arrive at population balance. Either by our own or nature´s hand! Which would you rather see for your children?
So, should I give up beating that ´dead horse´? My father, a U.S. Marine, used to put his arm around my shoulders, "Son, if you feel you are right about something, stand up and speak out…because when you do, you will be speaking for a 1,000 other people who are afraid to stand up and speak out. After you speak up, you will empower them and they will follow you because you gave them the courage within themselves."
"Widespread availability of high-interest RALs made poor borrowers easy marks for sub-prime mortgage hucksters. The resulting defaults have pushed the entire economy to the brink of collapse. While the sub-prime story is well known, few are aware of the EITC´s role in introducing the poor to the culture of debt."
As I sat in traffic stewing and fuming in my own fumes, I wondered, "Why are we doing this to ourselves? Why have we allowed Colorado to add 1.5 million people in the past 15 years? Why are we on course to add another five million people within four decades? How will we ever solve our traffic problems? How will Denver solve its Brown Cloud problems that ensure that everyone breathes toxic air with every breath? How will we solve our ominous water shortages facing us? How will we solve ´quality of life´ issues?
In California, their illegal immigration population started small and now exceeds four million. Their children overwhelm schools, medical facilities with anchor babies and tens of thousands fill California jails. Total cost annually exceeds $10.3 billion paid for by California taxpayers. Today, California´s debt runs in the red at $24 billion. A whopping 86 of their hospitals and ER wards bankrupted out of existence in the past six years.
But sooner rather than later, California citizens must deal with their human population wildfire that promises to scorch that state and burn much of America´s civilization into an unrecognizable future. Join Dr. Diana Hull and Meredith Burke at www.capsweb.org and change direction by citizen wisdom and action. Your kids will thank you!
"Over 100,000 birds and marine life die each year, due to an encounter with plastic debris, much of it plastic bags. In Australia, alone, 80 million plastic bags litter beaches and public spaces.
Re: "Conservation among keys to coping with water woes" by Mike Stark, AP Writer, Salt Lake City, Utah
In a recent Salt Lake Tribune piece, The West is hurtling toward a water crisis; www.sltrib.com/opinion/ci_11417265: "Overpopulation will be the major factor in the destruction of Utah, the se...
Around the planet, Mother Nature already kills annually 18 million human beings via starvation as they exceed the carrying capacity of the land where they live. You got that?! (Source: World Health Organization)
That next 100 million will overwhelm our ability to maintain water, energy, food and a balanced environment. It will lift out of reach any chance for a stable and sustainable population within the USA. It will also create horrific water shortages and exacerbate the energy and climate destabilization crises.
"We´re drowning in a sea of garbage with a three million ton plastic waste dump twice the size of Texas floating 1,000 miles off the West Coast called the Great Pacific Garbage Patch."
Professor Paul G. Miller, Colorado State University
The great scholar Seymour Lipset said, "The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension and tragedy."
The more I investigate our predicament, the more pained I am for the future of our civilization. As you read this four part series, you will know more than 90 percent of Americans. Dr. Garrett Hardin wrote his "Tragedy of the Commons" nearly two decades ago, but we ignored it—at our increasing peril.
You may debate the morality or immorality of 46 million abortions, but if you live in America, you may not possess a clue as to the circumstances of their choices. It´s easy to ride the high moral ground when you´re not living in the filthy cesspool of misery inhabited by several billion humans on planet earth.
You must wonder why a sane man would walk onto a railroad track to discover a train headed in his direction, but he turns around and walks the other way so he won´t see it when that locomotive runs over him. As intelligent at the United States purports to be, it follows in the same footsteps of China, Mexico, Pakistan and India—horrific population overload.
Everything we face stems from hyper-loading caused by legal and illegal immigration. Sixty years from now, those journalists´ own kids will write stories about desperate Americans scratching out a living in a country overloaded by immigration. We can no longer afford mass immigration into America if we expect a viable and sustainable civilization.
The United States accelerates along a path that cannot continue no matter what your race, creed or color. Thousands of top scientists know it and write about it, but the general public stands clueless. Others shy away from it for fear of being called names.
I have said that humans are God´s highest expression and worst mistake. If you look around at the mess we´ve created in this world in the last 100 years, I don´t see how you could argue.
Ironically, the Catholic Church and other religious institutions around the world constitute the main cause for 46 million abortions performed planet-wide each year. Doctors perform 1.3 million abortions in the USA annually.
Latiker pitched a great question. Why does the violence accelerate? Answer: the United States imports 138,000 new immigrants and their children along with 100,000 illegal aliens every 30 days, month in and month out, year in and year out.
Mexico´s Excelsior Newspaper said, "You cannot give me a similar example of such a large migratory wave of an ant-like multitude, stubborn, unarmed and carried on in the face of the most powerful and best-armed nation on earth…it is slowly returning the southwestern U.S. to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot nor requiring the least diplomatic action, by means of a steady, spontaneous and uninterrupted occupation."
Whether you think humans or natural cycles create climate change, we will not escape this fact: humans grow by 77 million, net gain, annually on a finite planet. They create cause and effect on every environmental system on our planet home—destructively.
While this nation faces a population overload, the United States must address major cultural differences caused by massive, unrelenting and unending immigration from third world cultures.
I´m tired of America´s mass stupidity especially all the individual stupidities that make up the whole.
Earth Day, April 22, 2009, galloped into town like John Wayne, but busted leather hightailing away like Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, and the Hole in the Wall Gang. It arrived with hope and left in denial!
It´s amazing how millions can look at a steam locomotive bearing down on them and continue walking on the tracks away from the train so they won´t see it when it runs over them.
John Coulter said in a letter to the editor in The Age, "If I were a Melbournian, I would not reduce my water consumption until Premier Bracks abandons his crazy plan to bring another million people into Melbourne. Why should I save to have my savings squandered by an irresponsible Premier and leave my children in an even worse situation than today?"
Derrick Jensen, author of The Culture of Make Believe, "We make believe that we can have infinite human growth and the age of oil will last forever. We have to make believe that we can kill a planet and still live on it."
Meanwhile, a whole new, functionally illiterate sub-class expands across America. That sub-class cannot read, write or work simple math. They lack critical thinking. They live at the bottom rung of the economic ladder. For example, 31.1 million Americans live on food stamps as of March 2009.
At an average of $8,000.00 per healthy birth to as high as $500,000.00 for premature babies or one that suffers a congenital heart defect or Down´s Syndrome, etc., the costs annually run in excess of $3.2 billion. Later, taxpayers shell out $7,000 to $8,000.00 per year for educating those children K-12. Dan Stein of www.fairus.org estimates anchor babies and other immigrant children cost U.S. taxpayers $7.4 billion annually.
"The universal conspiracy of the silent assertion lie is hard at work always and everywhere, and always in the interest of a stupidity or sham, never in the interest of a thing fine or respectable. It is the most timid and shabbiest of all lies…the silent assertion that nothing is going on which fair and intelligent men and women are aware of and are engaged by their duty to try to stop."
"There are several reasons why Earth is failing—but they all come down to the fact that an increasing number of people are making increasing demands on a single planet," Lines said. "The Green Revolution is basically over, it´s gains already canceled by population growth."
"Most Western elites continue urging the wealthy West not to stem the migrant tide, but to absorb our global brothers and sisters until their horrid ordeal has been endured and shared by all--ten billion humans packed onto an ecologically devastated planet." Dr. Otis Graham, Unguarded Gates
Every 30 days, the U.S. adds 138,000 legal immigrants and another 100,000 illegal migrants. As the US population adds another 100 million people by 2035, hazardous waste removal infrastructure will not be able to keep up with the onslaught on the environment.
On Sunday at church, my preacher said, "If you want to be happy for a moment, eat your favorite meal at your preferred restaurant. If you want to be happy for a day, get married because the celebration provides much happiness. If you want to be happy for a lifetime-- plant, grow and tend a garden."
Investor´s Business Daily reported, April 4, 2008, "Rubenstein´s study suggests that Washington doesn´t want to take a good look at the issue because the facts will spur the public to demand action to stop the hemorrhage of taxpayer money out-of-control immigration is causing.
"It is time we revisited how population pressure affects overall quality of life in this country, including an investigation of forces that continue to push our population higher and higher. We need to get on with the business of establishing a National Population Policy designed to place the nation on the pathway to a stable population, at a level or range deemed sustainable for the long-term future."
As to the ´lifeboat´ metaphor for America, how many people does it take to sink a lifeboat? Short answer: the last one to come aboard that overwhelms the craft´s ability to remain afloat. When you look around, countries like China, Congo, India, Mexico, Bangladesh, Darfur, Sudan, Somalia and dozens of others already exceed lifeboat capacity.
As a teacher and a parent, I hope more parents raise their kids like my father and mother. Teach them to earn their attention by studying for top grades, participating in sports and engaging in social activities like dancing. Tattoos do nothing for anyone's life.
Our rising numbers will boil beyond our ability to stop the population caldron from erupting like Mount Saint Helen. We can deny it, ignore it, suppress it and even pretend to fool ourselves for a few more decades—at the most.
In a profound DVD, "Blind Spot" , Dr. William Catton said, "Why don´t we understand our predicament?"
Dr. Tainter, "Collapse of Complex Societies", said, "Societies collapse from growing complexity—decaying infrastructure, overloaded environment…."
Richard Heinberg said, "There is nothing normal about unending growth."
Bill McKibben, "The End of Nature", said, "People prefer you to lie to them rather than face the truth." Dr. Elke Weber said, "Our blind spot is that we cannot see an immediate consequence to our actions." Dr. David Karten said, "How to make believe you can kill a planet and still live on it!"
America cannot survive hyper-population growth in addition to polyglot immigration. It can only decline into poverty, tension and Balkanization.
By mass immigration from third world countries, the USA sets itself up for entrenched poverty that will grow beyond our ability to solve it. We will become a polyglot nation of poor and a new subclass.
Why is America displacing its successful culture by unsuccessful cultures from millions of immigrants that flee their home countries? How can America's culture survive? It won't!
America faces a daunting future by adding 100 million people from around the world in the next 30 years. Why our citizens don't see it and why our leaders won't address it remains the greatest question of 21st century America.
The U.S. faces multiple challenges if it continues on its current immigration-driven hyper-population growth path. Find out what Colorado Governor Lamm said, "How to Destroy America."
Unending, massive and relentless immigration threaten U.S. culture, language and sustainability. Without shutting down US borders to all immigration, we face an added 100 million people in 30 years. Our civilization will not remain sustainable.
Unrelenting human population growth destroys 2.19 million acres of wilderness in the USA annually. Animals cannot exist with out habitat. The USA loses 2,500 plants and animals to extinction every decade, decade in and decade out. This situation cannot continue.
This civilization faces ominous energy consequences driven by massive and unending hyper-population growth. We must come to terms with our limits or our limits will come to terms with us.
No civilization in the world has survived multiple languages or opposing cultures. The United States faces ominous realities as incompatible cultures gain huge numbers across the USA.
Air pollution accelerates as population explodes. It's time to work toward a stable, clean and sustainable population.
Hyper-population growth causes every other environmental crisis facing the USA. It's time to stabilize US population before water shortages and energy crisis cannot be solved.
Immigration drives America's overpopulation crisis and must be stopped in order to bring about a sustainable and viable future for all citizens and animals alike.
America faces terrific challenges in 2009. We must work creatively toward rational solutions.
America faces food challenges as it grows toward 100 million people in 30 years. Those challenges include water shortages, farm land, overpopulation and climate change. Instead of solving the problems that emerge from hyper-population growth--we need to move toward a stable population. "US Sustainable Population Policy" may sound radical, however, it is the most reasonable.
Hyper-population growth forces the Unites States into massive consequences in the 21st century. It's time to promote a "US Sustainable Population Policy" sooner rather than later.
What happened to integrity in Congress? What about the presidency? What can we do about our leaders being more corrupt than third world dictators?

What about pollution increase via population growth? When will we speak about the taboo of population stabilization? Sooner would be better than later!
As we speed into the 21st century, our leaders and most Americans either cannot see or refuse to admit the accelerating consequences of hyper-population growth. We will not be able to continue on this path for much longer.
How many is too many? Can the USA tolerate another 70 million immigrants projected to enter in the next 30 years? What will they do to our sustainability? Our own citizens? Climate change? Quality of Life?
Overpopulation in the United States and around the world stands as the preeminent issue of the 21st century for all humanity. National leaders and religions must huddle together in order to bring about change. Humanity cannot continue on its current overpopulation path.
America faces ominous challenges as to water, population and energy in the 21st century. Richard Heinberg brings new depth to our dilemma. He educates and inspires readers to take action before action is taken against our civilization.
What can you say about a president that's been AWOL for eight years? What questions would you ask? What would you say to him as the door hits him on the backside as he leaves the White House? Bush proves the most incompetent president of all modern times.
America faces the end of the "Age of Oil" without a plan. We must take action toward a sustainable future. It's past time to keep talking and time for action. Four factors to assure a sustainable future for our children.
Are you ready for what's coming if we allow another 100 million people added to the USA?
Hold on to your seatbelts because this will be a rough ride on Kunstler's "The Long Emergency".
America faces a daunting future with an added 100 million people, water shortages, air pollution and declining quality of life. How will we survive "The Long Emergency"?
What secret will our president, governors and religious leaders keep from us until suffer from the manifestation of this secret? Find out when Frosty the Avenger brings his mighty quill to the charge!
What will America look like when the next President passes and amnesty for 20 million illegal aliens and doubles legal immigration to 2.2 million annually? Short answer: you can expect a population Katrina like nothing you've ever seen before.
Wall Street corruption sets a new standard for betrayal of the U.S. taxpayer. Our Congress sets a new benchmark for enabling those corrupt buggers by giving them more of our money. They play and we pay!
America's best years fade in the rear view mirrors. Why? Our apathy supercedes our concern for the future of our civilization.
America faces an accelerating overpopulation crisis that few understand and fewer still take action. Not one national leader addresses it. However, it affects everyone of us. It's deadly, growing and resembles a "Human Katrina". It's time to stop it.
Economic meltdown created by corruption at the highest levels. U.S. taxpayers left holding the bag while the elite and bankers play another round of golf.
Americans remain oblivious to their accelerating overpopulation crisis. They refuse to connect the dots, to put two and two together. They allow their leaders to drive their civilization over a cliff. Once over the cliff, there's not turning back. Let's put the brakes on now.
Why do so many wait humans think they can avoid or escape accelerating environmental dilemmas facing humans and our fellow travelers on this blue-green planet rolling around in the ink black of space?
Overpopulation is THE single greatest issue facing American in the 21st century, but no national leader, not one governor nor any congressmen/women address it. It's the least reported, but the most important crisis facing us--but we ignore it.
America's has lived an artificially high standard for far too long. It's time Americans drop down to the poverty levels of the rest of the world. Immigration will do that to you.
Voters angry because media and candidates avoid at all costs the immigration question. Thus, the US races into an added 100 million people in 30 years. The population issue proves THE single greatest crisis facing America in the 21st century.
Drugs remain available in quantities and quality even more today than 37 years ago when Nixon started the War on Drugs in 1971. It's time to end the War on Drugs by making all drugs legal, taxed and regulated.
Why would a highly educated civilization run itself over a population cliff? Why would it create its own "Human Katrina" to destroy its own citizens? Why would the United States government, via unending immigration, create an environmental and social nightmare for its citizens?
How much more 'tolerance' and 'political correctness' can the USA withstand before her legal citizens revolt against an unarmed invasion of illegal aliens now numbering over 20 million? As we see in our cities, schools, communities and prisons--not much more.
Bush's and Cheney's War finally suffer exposure by Jane Mayer in "THE DARK SIDE", which illustrates how the media controlled public opinion that led into the worst war of the 21st century: all based on the lie of weapons of mass destruction.
Multiculturalism and diversity prove abject failures in the real world. Their consequences grow everywhere across Europe and the USA. It's time to move toward shared values instead of forcing incompatible cultures and people onto one another.
This civilization wake up before it finds itself swimming in an added 100 million people. It must take action before such population nightmares come to fruition. It must become proactive toward its own future or suffer the same fate as China, India or Bangladesh. What does it take to wake up leaders and citizens to the obscene consequences of an overpopulated future. Find out how in this column!
This electrifying book brings a whole new dynamic to America's foremost crisis of immigration.
We must change paradigms if we expect to survive as a civilization with a viable and sustainable future. Thus far, our leaders and our citizens remain afraid to mention: population stability. Why? Would we like ourselves to imitate China or Mexico? Unfortunately, we follow them down the population gauntlet.
Taboos run in all societies from ancient to modern. This taboo may well prove the most deadly to U.S. civilization in the long run. We need to talk about it and we need to act upon it. Not later, but today!
Water remains our most precious resource and we're running out of it. California suffers a drought and continues adding 1,600 people every day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. At what point will leaders understand that unending growth, like obesity, causes early death?
Millions suffer poverty and misery in the third world. Millions of poor arrive in America annually creating more poverty in the United States. At what point does the US say, "Enough is enough!" If the US continues immigration, it can expect 100 million added people within 30 years to create a whole new dynamic to poverty in America.
What would be worse than being a passenger on the Titanic? Answer: knowing what was going to happen on that ship of disaster!
The U.S. stumbles and bumbles into the future without a plan for energy, water or population. It's time for a "National Strategic Plan" in order to arrive in the future with an intact civilization that functions within the carrying capacity of this planet.
We must drive the immigration/population issue to the front burner for the presidential debates. It takes your energy, your drive and your actions to make that happen. Otherwise, immigration falls into an abyss. Our civilization cannot and must not add 100 million people via immigration. We must think of future generations and our planet home.
The United States bumbles and stumbles into the future without a strategic plan.
When you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Our nation's leaders lack vision,
action and understanding of our ominous future as to population, energy and
quality of life.
When it's time to shift paradigms, can civilizations change course? Did the Romans? Did the people of Easter Island? Did the Myans? Will we?
America bumbles and stumbles into the 21st century without a plan. Our leaders mumble and jumble their words without a strategic plan for the future of this country. In a word, they act like the leaders of Burma! They react to crisis with no clue as to mitigating future dilemmas. Folks! We add 180,000 people to this country every 30 days! We'll add 100 million people in 30 years. It's time to change course!
If you discover you're walking down a road the wrong way, turn around and go back. Then, you can head in the right direction to get where you want to go.
The War on Drugs costs US taxpayers $70 billion annually, but does nothing to stop the flow of drugs into America. Drugs remain available to anyone, at any age, at any time. While it costs taxpayers billions, it fails miserable. It's time to change course! Here's what happens in 2015 when drugs finally become regulated, legalized and available.
Open up your wallet or purse--and watch your hard earned money--fly away! Each month and every month of the year, your Congress imports 182,000 immigrants that use your money to entrench themselves into America. They displace America's working poor and devour welfare money meant for American citizens.
How can any country hope to survive in the 21st century with an unsustainable population. Immigration forces a stable US population into growing as the third fastest country behind China and India. Why would we add 182,000 immigrants monthly with 14 million unemployed Americans, 13 million American children living below the poverty line and a plethora of problems as to water, climate change, gridlock, air pollution and worse?
Dams once brought greater life to human communities. Today, dams destroy wildlife, create more growth and more problems for an unsustainable future. We must stop building dams! We must come to a stable population living with its carrying capacity.
Immigration floods our school systems beyond their ability to educate foreign children and our own children. Thus, massive failure rates create a new subclass of functionally illiterate citizens and non-citizens. That results in crime, unwed mothers and hopeless poverty.
Paying for illegal alien criminals grows into billions of taxpayer dollars. However, few understand the long term consequences to our communities. Discover what we face as our communities become overrun with criminal illegal aliens.
Every American taxpayer shells out their own hard earned money to pay $346 billion annually for illegal aliens that shouldn't be in this country in the first place. It's a blatant and growing financial dilemma. With over two million immigrants crossing our borders annually, we cannot survive this invasion much longer.
America's back door stands as wide open to terrorists in 2008 as it did in 2001. Our borders invite millions of illegals to cross annually because they are wide open. The Department of Homeland Security provides the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American public as to guarding its security. We're as secure as a guppy in the same tank as a great white shark!
This country cannot maintain unending, relentless and massive immigration both legal and illegal. Immigration degrades the American experience by depressing wages for our working poor, downgrades our quality of life and wreaks havoc on our environment as we exceed our carrying capacity. An added 138 million people can only magnify our loss of a sustainable civilization.
Barack Obama attends a church where his minister berates America and curses white America for a litany of sins against black people. Pastor Wright never talks about personal responsibility. He blames, blames and issues vitriolic invectives against everyone else. He said, "Instead of God bless America, I say God d*** America." He creates racial divide beyond the size of the Grand Canyon.
Both major parties fail American citizens! None of the major candidates addresses our deepest, pressing problems. Why? How do they obscure our national dilemmas. Find out!
Why does anyone want to keep adding more population to California, Colorado, New York, Texas or any other state? What's the point when we don't have the water, energy or environmental balance today? Why bring more misery onto our communities and our civilization?
Humanity throws 2.5 million plastic items into our oceans every hour. A three million ton garbage patch the size of Texas swirls off our west coast. The carnage upon the marine environment means death to billions of creatures, sea birds and other animals. It's sad, sickening and growing.
How long do we want to pay $70 billion a year for the War on Drugs when it has failed to stem the tide for 37 years? How long must we continue to make pot smokers jailbirds when alcoholics get medical help? How far down this rat hole do we want to drop?
How do you feel about adding 138 million people to the United States? How about water shortages, climate change, air pollution and quality of life? All qualities will degrade if this nation allows itself to be continue accelerating this immigration "Human Katrina".
Why destroy American culture when it proves very successful? Why inject millions of people from failed cultures into America faster than America can absorb them? Find out what we face.
The Iraq War creates unending suffering beyond most peoples' comprehension. It will continue killing U.S. troops long after the last bullet flies from the barrel of a rifle. Why? Each soldier suffers an emotional war and many will die from that internal conflict by committing suicide.
This nation blindly moves into the future without a plan. It's time for our leaders to map out what we expect for a viable and sustainable future. Can we add 100 million people in 30 years? Can we provide water, energy and quality of life for an added 100 million people. Answer: not a chance! It's going to get nasty and then, much worse. Water will become our Achilles Heel.
Most American remain frustrated that Congress and our president engage in war 10,000 miles away, but will not secure our borders. More and more communities in America suffer an invasion from another country as their schools, hospitals and prisons are overwhelmed by illegal aliens. How can you stop it? Read on!
Drugs embed themselves into every aspect of America. That will never change as humans like to move into alternative states of mind. Therefore, let's legalize, regulate and tax all drugs. Let's move toward personal responsibility. Make drug use a medical problem instead of a criminal one.
How many people can a dance floor hold before too many make it miserable for everyone? How many people can a pool hold? How many people can a country feed, water and house? How long can we keep adding millions without horrific consequences? Answer: not much longer!
Obama, Hillary and McCain possess the same wheelhouse credentials as Captain Smith of the Titanic. Mass migration will prove the 'iceberg' that sinks the United States. Unending, relentless population overload will sink our civilization. Here's why!
Why would you electe a loser? Why would you choose the failed past? Why would you choose a man prepared to sacrifice our kids for 100 years of continued war? Why would you elect John McCain? You won't! That's why he will become the next Waterloo for the Republicans.
Why would anyone vote for Abraham Lincoln in 2008? He's dead! Why would anyone vote for John McCain? He's close to his grave. Why do Americans vote for broken down, old war horses that haven't done anything to benefit the USA in 20 years? Ask Goober and Any Taylor of Mayberry!
Bush violates his oath of office daily by continuing an illegal war, open borders, and abdication of the U.S. Constitution. It's called treason! No other president proves as inept or incompetent as George W. Bush.
Americans overlook the obvious as to illegal immigration. They ignore their accelerating dilemma. They deny their country is being overrun. They cannot imagine being displaced by another culture, language and people. Reality check: The Romans did the same thing. Today, so are the French, Dutch, Germans, Norwegians and many other foolish countries allowing massive, unending immigration from third world countries.
What happens to the USA when it features another 100 million people, but doesn't have the water to keep them alive? Water will prove the next 'oil' crisis of the 21st century.
This nation's growth resembles a cancer cell whereby it continues adding people without responsibility to the land, air or water. You cannot keep adding people if you expect a civilization to remain within its carrying capacity. The United States already exceeds its carrying capacity. We prove to be a nation in deep trouble.
Why would Obama support doubling annual immigration to two million people? Why would he support amnesty that takes jobs away from our working poor? Obama must think American blacks cannot figure out who will be the short end of stick.
How many millions of more people can the USA sustain? Another 100 million? How about 200 million? While we're at it, let's import another 300 million people from the third world to save them and destroy our own civilization! This population Katrina must stop. We cannot keep unrelenting, unending and massive immigration going if we care for our children's futures.
