Los Angeles Says G'Day to Queensland, Australia's Music at Musexpo

One of the biggest International music industry conferences in the world, Musexpo, involves top executives from every level and sector of the music business. The Los Angeles version is April 26 – April 29, 2009. For information: www.musexpo.net.

There is also a European and an Asian-Pacific Musexpo. In what is a huge annual opportunity for any aspiring groups or performers looking to break the international market, Musexpo brings together virtually every person involved in the making of a successful musical product to provide huge business potential for anyone attending.

For example, Queensland, Australia is always a big player here in Los Angeles. Last year, the Queensland label, Plus One Records brought over The Gin Club for a showcase that made their Los Angeles debut at Hollywood´s House of Blues. This year The Gin Club and Plus One Records´ other bands are burning up US College radio with their compilation CD, Australianacity of Hope – A Quick Guide to Indie Australia.
