Minneapolis, Minnesota)Somali Community leaders welcomed the arrival of the Minster Of of Diaspora Affaires, Hon Abdullahi Ahmed Abdulle Azhari new government first Minister to come to Minnesota.

he was feted at a private Dinner, hosted by Congressional lasion and community leader Mohamud wardhere in Minneapolis University Hostel.

At a community gathering following the Dinner, the Somali Minister of Diaspora Af fairs, Hon Abdullahi Ahmed Abdulle Azhari lauded Somali community leaders women´s group and community elders in the US, to support to Somali´s recovery program, especially toward the security, rehabilitation of infrastructure, security sector and economic development., During his visit in Minnesota Honorable Abdullahi Ahmed Azhariin the Minister Of Diaspora Affairs

the Minister in the new unity Government led by Shikh Sharif who visited The Somalis In Minnesota, will give his first major address on "The Role of Somali Diaspora in re building Somalia and opening Communication with the Somalis In Diaspora in the post-conflict redevelopment of Somalia on Saturday at 24 and Park ,Zahura hall in Minneapolis, MN.

"This visit of the Minister Of Diaspora affairs in Minnesota and North America demonstrates the government interest and commitment to build relationship with he Somalis in Diaspora and the United State government," says Mahdi Haile the Director Of the center For Somali Solutions Of Minnesota who invited The Minister Of Diaspora Affairs to come to US and speak with Somalis in Minnesota with the Help of US Embassy in Nairobi.


"This visit underscores the mission of our international plan and philosophy of engaging some of the Leading Somali Government Ministers, scholars, and civil society leaders to invite them in the US to speak with Somalis in USA. We have to have commitment to help our country to become peaceful country and bridging the gap between the Somalis in Diaspora and international affairs." meanwhile the minister also assured that the Somali community Leaders that the government is committed to the reconstruction and development of Somalia.

Honorable Azhari acknowledged the challenges facing the country, and spoke of the need for Diaspora to step up efforts to ensure that the government responds to the needs of the people.

In separate remarks, members of the Somali elders praised the Minster Of Diaspora Affairs for setting up a program that would enhance national reconciliation and development. Mr. Azhari received warm welcome from The Somalis community leaders In Minnesota. he is also planned a full slate of activities until Saturday that he will speak with Somalis In Minnesota.
