The Growing Desperation And Absurdity Of Pentagon Propaganda and Media Misinformation

Bill Lindner
After surviving the past eight years under Bush's delusional, illegally gained dictatorship, it's becoming increasingly obvious - and annoying -- that some media is once again instituting a misinformation campaign for the Pentagon Propaganda Machine and lying to the American public.

Beside the fact that 'leadership' at the highest levels of the military industrial complex don't think things out before making their feable attempts to justify their crimes against humanity, said 'leadership' doesn't seem to realize the American public isn't completely stupid.

After the Bush administration complicity allowed the attacks of 9/11 to occur, the Federal government -- under his watch -- has repeatedly used terroristic tactics to force the public into fearful submission, resulting in the groundwork for a police state being illegally instituted. Because the Government has consistently misinformed the public about the facts of 9/11 and used them to their advantage, it will take years to get all the facts straightened out.

After the attacks of 9/11, information was conveniently twisted around to make it appear that Osama bin Laden was responsible, and we were told that 19 Arabs 'picked by bin Laden' did it, even though seven of them were later found alive and well overseas, offering more evidence that our government was involved in the attacks and the cover up -- similar to JFK's assassination that John McCain admitted was an "intervention" -- that continues to this day.

The latest propaganda campaign being spun by journalistic lap dogs of the Bush administration and its military industrial complex tells us that five alleged members of al Qaeda -- which has been conveniently used by the CIA for years to further their illicit actions while trying to justify their existence and keep their crimes covered up, despite the fact that they have done more harm than good for the United States -- confessed to being involved in the attacks of 9/11.

Don't misunderstand me. There is no question that terrorism is a real problem. The problem with the "War on Terror" is that fact that terrorists are being created, we're not being protected from terrorism, and our government keeps using terroristic tactics against us. The "War on Terror" is and was nothing more than a political weapon that was illegally used to quell political dissent and gain public control over America and all who live here through fear and intimidation. Unfortunately, it's a real problem that has spread throughout the rest of the world.

The Military's Guantanamo PR Machine

Investigative reporter Larisa Alexandrovna, in her at Largely blog, does an excellent job of pointing out the fallacies and absurdity of what amounts to the military's own public relations machine from inside Gitmo at the hands of a military judge.

How do you explain how five suspected members of al Qaida suddenly get a world stage utilized to frighten Americans some more and why the the media, who have repeatedly been well versed in stupidity, has not asked any sensible questions?

According to CNN, five Guantanamo prisoners accused in the attacks of 9/11 staunchly defended their actions, calling the operation 'blessed' and 'great' and the accusations they're facing 'badges of honor.' A six-page response allegedly from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed objurgates the actions of the U.S. and its allies in the Middle East, calling the U.S. "the terrorist country number one in the world."

As noted by at Largely, how did five alleged Al Qaeda members come together to form this statement, given the fact that they are each being held in isolation at Gitmo? How is it that this filing was accepted by the court when some of the attorneys for the five men weren't even aware that such a thing was going to be filed?

We're supposed to believe that a military judge accepted an incendiary legal pleading filed by five 9/11 suspects despite President Obama's order to halt the Guantanamo military commissions. We're supposed to believe these five suspects filed this confession even though some of their attorneys were unaware of it.

Supposedly five alleged al Qaeda members issued a statement of guilt through a military court -- a filing that was accepted by a judge that is defying Presidential orders -- despite some of the suspects' attorneys being unaware of it. To top that off, after defying Presidential orders putting a halt on all Gitmo military commissions, the judge on the case not only accepted the filing, he released it to the public.

Besides making the military look stupid, it serves no purpose in keeping America safe. It appears the military industrial complex is intentionally defying the President of the United States and using pawns claiming responsibility for the attacks of 9/11 to upset the public and gain support for their own objectives, which in this case appear to be preventing threats of military budget cuts from the Obama administration.

Domestic Propaganda Campaign and Military "Experts"

Last year, CNN, ABC and a slew of other media outlets were caught in a major scandal that involved using 'military experts' to justify various governmental misadventures that in reality, amounted to nothing more than a domestic propaganda campaign designed to sway public opinion and misinform the public.

Almost a year later, these 'military experts' are again busy propagandizing with some of the media trying to decipher the meaning of this 'confession.' In keeping with their past tradition of lying or ignoring facts to save the Bush administration, these 'experts' never once asked two obvious questions: how and why?

Since their attorneys, and some of these suspects, weren't aware of this 'confession,' how did these five alleged suspects -- held in isolation -- get together to discuss and approve this statement?

How does anyone benefit by releasing this information to the public? Why is it being released now? Why did a judge defy presidential orders and accept this filing?

After all these years of secrecy on everything else and holding 'suspects' indefinitely with no charges or rights to defend themselves or access to their lawyers, a confession magically appears that is conveniently made public.

The answers are obvious. It's like the phony Osama bin Laden tapes that have magically appeared over the years to resurrect a Bush family friend, who had nothing to do with the attacks of 9/11, and has been reportedly dead for several years when it was convenient for the military: because the military and its defense contractors -- as noted by at Largely, that terribly incestuous pool of corruption -- are once again playing scare the foolish American public and the rest of the world, to frighten us into submission.

This is another case of governmental stupidity running rampant. The frightening us into submission trick stopped working years ago because there are many of us who actually rely on reason, logic and common sense, not the propaganda utilized by the government.

Politicized Justice And Corrupted Rule Of Law

The Bush administration thrived on secrecy, allegedly to protect us from future attacks, when in reality their secrecy was nothing more than trying to keep their treasonous actions covered up while politicizing justice and corrupting the rule of law.

These alleged terrorists have been detained for years. 'National security' was the reason that no one had access to them. Not even a picture of some of them has been released to the public. Suddenly, five isolated suspects admit their guilt, despite some of them and their attorneys not even being aware that they were confessing.

Suddenly, when President Obama wants to cut military spending, the military court is no longer concerned about National security. A military judge defies an order given by his Commander-in-chief to halt the proceedings, not only accepting the filing, and purposely making it public reeks of politics as usual and is nothing more than pure propaganda. The rule of law has suffered greatly these past eight years, and continues to do so today.

For years, justice has been a double standard: one for the public and one for politicians and leaders. Playing politics with something as tragic as the attacks of 9/11 only offers more evidence of how corrupted justice -- both in military courts and the Department of Justice -- has become after being subjected to the Bush regime.

One has to wonder just how stupid our government thinks we are. It's time for the corruption to end, time for accountability to begin, time to reverse the egregious legislation that has illegally opened the door for instituting a police state and it's time to restore democracy and the rule of law for everyone.
