CMA Welcomes "New Faces of Country Music" to CRS-40

CMA will join with Radio & Records in co-sponsoring the "New Faces of Country Music Show" March 6 at the Nashville Convention Center in Nashville during the 40th annual Country Radio Seminar. All five "New Faces" artists (Lady Antebellum, James Otto, Kellie Pickler, Chuck Wicks, Zac Brown Band) are scheduled to perform 20-minute sets and were chosen by registrants at last year's CRS on the basis of having achieved significant success at radio during the qualification period.

CRS-40 will be held March 4-6, 2009 at the Nashville Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. On-site registration is $699. Marketing and new media expert Seth Godin will deliver the keynote address, which is included in registration package, however $40 tickets for only the keynote address is available for on-site purchase Wednesday, March 4 at 8 AM. Students with a valid ID can purchase for only $20. Godin has written bestselling books including All Marketers are Liars, Free Prize Inside, Purple Cow, Meatball Sundae and Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us.
