Education before Vaccination!

Your child is the most precious gift you will ever have. Whether or not to have your child vaccinated will probably be the most important choice you will ever make. Slowly over the years that choice however has been taken away from parents. Anyone reading what I write may think I am anti vaccination. I am most certainly not. What I believe in, is choice, I believe in education, information and informed consent. When we buy tablets for a headache whether that is Advil in the USA or Paracetamol in the UK, inside the box we have a leaflet. On that leaflet will be a list of ingredients and any possible adverse reactions. So why is it then when we have our child vaccinated this information is not so freely available? When anyone has any invasive medical procedure, for example an operation or a tooth extraction a consent form is signed to say we have discussed possible risks, understand and agree to the procedure, so why not a consent form for every single vaccination?

A parent having their child vaccinated needs to know that they DO have choices. A parent can choose single vaccines, they can choose when their child has their vaccines, this means they can space the vaccines out, so their child's immune system is not over loaded. A parent also has the right to choose which vaccines they feel are necessary and which are not. For example does a boy really need the Rubella vaccine? Does a girl really require the Mumps vaccine? Does either sex really need the Chicken Pox vaccine? Do young girls of nine to twelve years old really need the HPV vaccine? Instead of having family planning clinics in schools and teaching five years old about gay relationships shouldn't we simply teach better morals and appropriate sexual behavior? I have never understood why five year old children need any sort of sex education.I am sure plenty of people reading this will say a child needs to have them all. Then that is for them to choose that option for their child.A parent should be able to opt for mercury free vaccines and even if they wish, to have homeopathic vaccines.Very few people even know about the homeopathic choices because these are sneered at by mainstream medicine. Read about Homeopathic Vaccines here However, how can a parent make these important decisions if this information is not made available to them? Surely a parent has the right to know what a vaccine contains and if that vaccine has a possible side effect. It is all very well saying to a parent holding their first baby in their arms, "well, every vaccine carries a small risk but........." A parent has a right to know what that small risk could be.

Many vaccines are becoming mandatory. In other words parents have their freedom of choice completely removed from them. Many schools in the USA are banning children from attending their school without first having the full vaccine schedule. In May 2007 this was a headline that shocked many from around the world 'Children Herded Like Cattle' A Maryland Courthouse Forced Vaccinations as Armed Police and Attack Dogs Stand Guard the first paragraph of the article read:-

"Following the State of Maryland's threats against parents who refuse to have their children vaccinated, children were herded into a Price George County courthouse being guarded by armed personnel with attack dogs. Inside, the children were forcibly vaccinated, many against their will, under orders from the State Attorney General, various State Judges and the local School Board Director, all of whom illegally conspired to threaten parents with imprisonment if they did not submit their children to vaccinations"

This is plain child abuse but it was allowed to happen because slowly the Governments are taking the freedom of choice away from parents. Parents are allowed to choose what their child eats, a parent can choose what their child wears and even which school their child attends, so why not allow parents to make the same choices when it comes to vaccination? It seems a parent has more say when vaccinating their pet dog than they do their child!

Parents should be allowed to know all the facts. Parents should be given choices. If Governments and Pharmaceutical Companies have nothing to hide then I believe there would be no harm in allowing parents to choose what they feel is best for their child. After all we all want the best possible health for our children don't we? Informed choices are good choices. My motto has and always will be 'Education before Vaccination'.

I will trust our Governments and Pharmaceutical Industries when they have earned my trust. So far all I see is lies, lies and more lies. I see double dealing and fraudulent behavior and quite frankly it scares me.
