Tamworth osteopath and physiotherapist John Williams of Atlas Pain Relief Centre in Tamworth town centre Staffordshire is due to be featured in a television programme called "Extreme Male Beauty"

At present the show on Channel 4 television is due to be broadcast from 9th April for 4 weeks at 10pm.

The programme looks at a variety of health and fitness issues and the series runs for 4 weeks. John was involved in the diagnosis and treatment of overtraining the abdominal muscles which led to a health problem. Following medical investigation which was unsuccessful in discovering the cause of the problem, the patient visited Atlas Pain Relief Centre in Tamworth and was successfully treated by the Tamworth Osteopath.

Overtrained abdominal muscles can lead to a great looking 6 pack if your bodyfat is low enough but can also strangle and compress the organs which sit behind them This in turn can lead to digestive problems as food struggles to pass through the intestines. A simple adjustment to your exercise regime is sufficient to address the problem in most cases.
