Unlicensed Teenage Driver Allegedly Causes Six Car Pile Up While Under The Influence

According to reports by DUI lawyers in Los Angeles, there was a six car pileup that is allegedly the fault of an unlicensed teenage driver was suspected of driving under the influence after the Anaheim accident. The driver allegedly struck several vehicles according to police leaving five people injured and two people in critical condition.

According to Anaheim police officer Sergeant Tim Schmidt the accident occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m., in the vicinity of the 2800 block of West Lincoln Avenue, teenage driver identified, as a 17 year old was in the westbound lane of Lincoln Avenue where the pileup began. According to Anaheim officer the 17 year old was driving a Nissan Maxima traveling over the speed limit when he erratically changed lanes crashing into two vehicles.

The driver struck the vehicle in front of him and the vehicle in back, the next crash he struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle the No. 1 lane. The impact of the collision sent the SUV across the median and into the eastbound lanes, where it was facing head on into the path of a Toyota. 17 year old driver of then struck a parked vehicle that disabled his vehicle.


According to Sgt. Schmidt when police arrived on the scene they administered a sobriety test, 17 year old was then arrested and he was reportedly driving without a license. His passenger another 17 year old was injured and transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.

One of the drivers in the first vehicles that were struck was injured along with a passenger in the SUV; the driver of the SUV was hospitalized in critical condition. The driver of the Toyota had to be freed by firefighters and was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.

The multi car pileup caused Lincoln Avenue to be closed for several hours in the areas of Beach Boulevard and Dale Avenue.
