New Colorado Real Estate Blog Leads Readers to HighRGround

In the big, square state of Colorado, it's difficult to get a grip on what's happening in any one neighborhood, much less what kinds of real estate activities are taking place statewide. While home and listings search sites fill the gap between home buyer and REALTOR, sometimes the going gets tough, confusing, and lonely.

Now there's HighRGround.com, a frequently updated blog by real estate experts, for anyone interested in what's happening with Colorado real estate and homes. Says HighRGround founder Lane Hornung, "Our goal is to provide free, useful information to the public about Colorado real estate in an engaging way." Further, he says that, although much of the news there is designed to help home buyers with their Colorado home search, sellers, REALTORs, and those who are just curious will find something for them there too.

Readers will find a decidedly human voice at HighRGround; subjects range from the flash fire that threatened a cluster of north Boulder homes in January 2009, to the basics of Colorado home buying, to what "green building" really means, to neighborhood spotlight entries. Nothing is off-limits, as long as it pertains to Colorado and its citizens, which means that HighRGround is just getting started. "We've got a long way to go before we run out of topics," comments Hornung, who has been involved in the higher ground of Colorado real estate for almost ten years. A real estate enthusiast with an impressive background in business and technology, Hornung's knowledge is steeped in his own native Colorado roots.
