Soul Sellers and Soul raiders

Today the home minister for the newly formed ”revolutionary” government made a shocking decision. He proudly declared that the Maoists are going walk freely with any fear of the law. They will no longer be terrorists; they will no longer be wanted. Yes, these are the same Maoists whose brutality and total disregard for human rights is well know (well, the home minister does not know this obviously).

Although this “brave” act is said to be for the people, it is actually a payback for the Maoists for their support in the democratic struggle. Maoists are happy; finally they have got what they wanted. They can keep their gun, license to kill and total amnesty.

I am not jealous, let them enjoy with they have achieved. Life of 13,000 people, millions worth of destroyed national property, broken social fabric, with all this achievement tea Maoists must be on cloud nine. Compare this with the political leaders. In last 10 years all they did was fight for big money ministries, closed their eyes with the palace misappropriated millions. Which one would you support, the murderer or the corrupt? The terrorists or the one that approves terrorism as state approved method?

As for me, I support none. I guess for my sanity and for my long life, I should declare myself mad and retire from thinking, feeling and living.
