You may be well aware of the fact that Georgia is no stranger to crime. This state is crawling with law breakers and based on a 2006 criminal records statistic the most dangerous place is Morrow. This is a relatively small city that is located in Clayton County. However, though it may be the most risky, this small area is not the only geographical region infested with unlawful citizens.
The "Peach State" exceeds the national average in many crimes that include, but are not limited to, robbery, murder and theft. In 06 there were more than 94,000 property crimes alone. With stats like that it can make one wonder just how safe their home and neighborhood really is. Unfortunately, the reality is that it is likely not nearly as safe as you would like to believe.
Understand, this doesn´t mean you need to be paranoid of everyone you meet or walk around feeling every person you see on the street is a criminal. However, what it does mean is that you must be more alert to your surroundings and not so trusting. Not every Georgian has good intentions or a clean past. Therefore, you should consider taking advantage of a free background check online and investigate those you feel inclined to trust.
Why should you conduct background checkups? Why not?
