Can Insects Be Totally Eliminated?
Some people in our midst might cringe at the sight of a roach, ant, beetle or even a wasp. Others, depending on their level of fear for such critters, might pass out, scream or run from the scene of the insect viewing. It seems like insects will survive and thrive no matter how many of their kind are eliminated from this planet. There is no stopping them.
One might call out the pest control guy as frequently as necessary and store as many spray cans of insecticides in one’s home, but those insects keep coming, nevertheless.
Some one can eliminate a wasp nest today, thinking he or she will no longer have to step out onto his or her patio or porch in fear of the stinging insects and a couple weeks later or earlier, another nest will spring up; usually in the same place where the last nest was located. What is it with these annoying insects?
They might have enough intelligence to survive, multiply and defend themselves from whatever mankind has been dishing out to them over the years, but first, before mankind ever set foot on this earth and before they began to invade, explore and discover other lands, the insects were there, surviving and living, for they must have thought this planet was theirs.
Mankind, being as enterprising as they are wanted order and civilization. As they clear away acres of land to build homes and businesses, the lives of those insects have been and are still being disrupted.
They have to re-locate. Usually though, some of these insects end up building their nests right there on the same piece of property they dwelled in before man started building his civilized world. It must be a territorial thing.
For no matter how many times one sprays his or her home or calls out the pest control guy, certain nests or insects keep returning.
On a persoanl note, although we have learned to live and cope with the large varieties of insects, maybe there are some things in this world that can never be totally eliminated, such as those insects, for this was their world long before mankind started developing it for their own purposes.
