Our New President Appears to Be A Totally Calm, Cool and Savvy Role Model.
Barack appears to be paying attention sensitively to what´s going on around him. He is so openly affection with his daughters and his wife. I, for one, welcome such behavior. A great many of us, unfortunately, did not have that experience as we grew up. We were robbed of that positive parental energetic connection. Of course, our parents had been similarly robbed; that behavior goes from generation to generation, so I am particularly thrilled to watch him model affection so abundantly, appropriately and openly.
When he talks with someone, he looks at them in the eye, connects energetically with them and leaves them with the impression that he´s really been present with them and he´s heard them. I´ve had a personal experience of this, and I have a photo which my son took, to prove it. What gifts: the experience and the picture, both examples of positive attention for me!
During his swearing in, when the Chief Justice mixed up the words which Barack had to repeat, Barack merely smiled, knowing that somehow it would work out. It did, after the Internet picked up the moment, passed it around world-wide and weighed in on whether or not the President was really the President and legally sworn in. The Chief Justice redid the ceremony, wearing his robes, in the Oval office, before Barack´s first day in office was over.
So that little blip was handled in short order! He took the drama and the media attention away from that mistake.
I sense that he will handle most media "grabbers" like this, once he gets the energy of misplaced attention. He has called for transparency in his office and in his dealings, which will call for early intervention in matters which don´t need to get constant conversation and chatter on the media.
There definitely seems to be fresh air and energy all around The White House these days.
I even listened to the Senate Hearings today regarding the confirmation of Admiral Dennis Blair, the man who is set to be the National Intelligence Director. The confirmation process was intense, questioning and definitely directed all to be more open, connected, and responsible. The senators even asked Blair for more records, old communications and demanded more accountability. It's not over yet. It seems like old behavior is not going to be swept under political rugs any more.
So far, so good.
