Once again the fervor of Indian Idol is rising up and music loverīs folks have started casting their votes through SMS. It is not only an Idol contest in India, but also showing their identity, presence, and talent in one of the most lucrative field of Indian Musical world. The winner not only get name and fame but also get contract of One crore with Sony and global exposure. Thatīs why the Indian Idol has become one of the biggest platforms for the impending singers. They can enter in the field of Indian movie or Bollywood. Like first Indian Idol, Abhijeet Sawant is trying his fate as an actor and sang many playback songs for the movie and performed many country of the world. Similarly another great hero of Indian Idol 3 Prashant Tamang became a fabulous hero for Gorkhali and Nepali community of the world. The entire year he was performing all over the world including twice in USA.
In Indian Idol 3 Darjeeling Boy Prashant Tamang the first Nepali to ever partake in the Indian Idol contest crowned the title with record breaking vote with more than 7 crore vote casted by the music lovers of India and the world as a whole. He was from Indian Police(Kolkata Police) and this year too one even more talented, handsome and soft spoken but well disciplined and hard worker Indian Army boy Kapil Thapa is coming up with leading vote and he is another Nepali or Gorkhali Singer from Dehradun. He also inspired by Prashant Tamang to join this contest and also encouraged by Army associates like Prashant by his Police friends.
According to official website of Indian Idol he is described as "tough disciplinarian, but has a soft voice that can melt any heart. Although he hasnīt learnt music professionally, he enjoys the art as a hobby. Influenced by Indian Idol 3, Kapil participated in an orchestra contest where his band won the first prize."
His is from Indian Army, his father is retired army and his two elder brothers are in Army. He is popularly known as Phouji Bhai and great fan of Shan. But he is fond of dancing and performed many time in Army and Local Clubs. Beside singing and dancing he loves to play football, carom, chess, and having fun with friends. He is one of the most popular among all the contestants and every morning train them to be physically fit. He loves all his friends in the contestants but very close with Remo, Saurabhee and Roshan who is already eliminated in Piano round.
By judging his performance one of the popular singers Sonu Nigam said he is the best performer and another popular singer and new judge this year Kailas Kher also says he is the best, another judge Sonali praises his hard work and gradual improvement of his singing talent.
He requests all the viewers to listen his singing talent and watch his performance before voting. He wants to win the heart of the people than the contest. He confesses and says he has to work much harder to be the best and for that he has to do more riaz (Vocal Practice). The stage of Gala is big and he has to cover whole stage while performing. But in this Idol contest only singing and Performing will not help if people donīt vote. We have seen many talented singers have eliminated and the entire contest is fully based on peoples vote. So donīt lose chance to crown another Gorkha Army guy this year with India Idol crown. He is fully dependent on our vote and the time has come to show our love, passion and identity.
