Spanish Language Version of 'The Star Spangled Banner' Sparks Controversy
A new version of "The Star Spangled Banner" with lyrics in Spanish has sparked a lot of controversy.
"Nuestro Himno" or "Our Anthem" is a collaboration by a group of Spanish music stars, they hope that their version of the national anthem will give Hispanics a chance to demonstrate their patriotism.
I don't see why anybody should get their panties in a twist, if our national anthem survived Roseanne Barr, it can weather anything.

At the dawn of the 21st century, America is a pluralistic society, and a Spanish version of "The Star Spangled Banner" is a great way to acknowledge the largest ethnic group in our nation.
Major League Baseball (MLB) wouldn't enjoy such incredible success if it weren't for it's many prominent Latino stars, MLB should take the lead and introduce "Nuestro Himno" in its ballparks.
