Coyote vs. The Rascal Mat Zo and his Enlightenment Guide
The God/Universal One state is real. Researchers have identified a spirituality spot in the brain. "Among the more spiritual of the 26 subjects, the researchers pinpointed a less functional right parietal lobe, a physical state which may translate psychologically as decreased self-awareness and self-focus." Or you could say, "Less is more."
There is no doubt an overblown "me" thing is the kiss of death for a we, us, they, anything else thing (also known as Narcissism). The latest research indicates that state of "being" (self focused or other focused) is visible in the brain.
Pay attention to the "It's all about Me" club - you will soon notice a correlation. When you are out of sight or neglecting to fill the IV drip of self-adoration, ME has no time for you and finds a replacement to fill the void.
If the focus is on other and Source as being of equal or greater value, ME can see the bigger picture and hold that in focus. (Even if I/you leave the room.) The result: a shift in presence to become more compassionate, confident and able to reach out to include you or others as a WE, US and ONE; remembering that we are all connected and what we do to others impacts/comes back to us/ME.
As in: What Me do to Me (in intent, thought and/or deed) comes back to Me...
If your present condition involves navigating a Me focused challenge, time will deliver your outcome. And that insight is worth waiting for.
I can say - one of the most unexpected and truly miraculous after-effects of a spiritual epiphany is the instantaneous shift in presence and resulting ongoing awareness that there is no separation - we are one. As a result, if I could have a wish granted that I thought might be of value for the greater good, it would be: I wish spiritual oneness epiphanies to be contagious.

Be Free!
Make no mistake. Part of being Human is the ongoing battle between the inner WE and inner ME. No one living is exempt.
1. WE wants to save the whales for the good of one and all without regard to credit.
2. ME prefers to blaze a trail and hear the thunderous applause of the crowd as the megaton commemorative statue is unveiled: How Great ME Art!
And when you finally land on a catchy title to hawk your wares, remember the spiritual dues still need to be paid.
A recent guest on Conscious Living illustrates this perfectly. Guru Mat Zo, author of The Rascal's Guide to Enlightenment on a Budget does a send up on the New Age/Spiritual Self Help practice of providing enlightenment and assorted heretofore unheard of self-enlightening products at ridiculously/rediculously reasonable prices.
For whatever reason, the Divine Order watching over our session chose to keep Guru Mat Zo in the dark - without benefit of audio. We could hear him and he could hear him. So we did the show anyway and texted a few leading questions...very few...while he did an impromptu stand-up. (Possibly sit down; it's a podcast. Fill in the visual.)
The Mat Zo Guru carried it off quite well but begged/accepted a rain check for a more traditional one on one interview in the future. Rascal energy is a tough cookie to bite off.
My personal assessment. I'll give it an Animal Spirit slant. Coyote Energy put Rascal Energy on its happy-go-larky-butt or: A conscious choice to serve up a plate of Divine Ego includes a side dish of divine humility.
We get what we ask for and any label we choose to wear speaks for itself. Divine Comedy. Rock On!
On that happy note, he's back. And this time he's got the song copyright thing covered. (Another guest on Conscious Living) Take time out for You Tube Dance Guru, Judson Laipply's Evolution of Dance 2
