The terror attacks on November 26, on the Hotel TAJ, Hotel Oberoi and CST railway station, in the big city, Mumbai in India shocked and moved the pride of all Indians. People in all over India are criticizing this terror attack happened in India while specially in Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Hydrabad , Calcutta and other prominence cities people are collectively demonstrating and taking out peace march criticizing this inhuman terror attack. At all places, the martyrs from Indian security forces, who laid their lives in these terror attacks are being paid homage. It is far the first time that people in such huge gatherings, without any organization invitation and planning are holding meetings and rallies and expressing their anger. People from all religions and communities from the Indian society have shown their anger against the terror attacks. This anger of the Indian society is not limited to the terror attacks but short comings of the Indian politics, want of will power in the politicians and nurturing of the terrorist training camps in Pakistan are too being aimed at.

Undoubtedly all the Indians have united and strongly criticized with one voice the terrorists attack on November 26 in Mumbai. But after this attack the Indian Muslims are taking some hard steps that give true message of the Indian Muslims against terrorism. The incident that took place in Mumbai went of for three days between the terrorists and security forces and NSG commandoes. Nine terrorists were killed and one was caught alive. The arrested terrorist is Ajmal Aamir Qasab and is citizen of Pakistan. The arrested terrorist has told that all his 9 associates, who were killed in the combat, belonged to the Muslim community. He, even, told the names of 9 members of the gang. Government of India and all the state governments in India do the last ritual rites of the dead bodies, according to the religion of the deceased. Obviously this was to be done with the corpses of the Muslims terrorists too. The unclaimed Muslim bodies found in the big city of Mumbai or the Muslims who die in the combat with the police in Mumbai are buried in the Marine lines grave yard in Mumbai.

The Mumbai administration had such planning for the 9 killed Muslim terrorist who killed in the big and fresh terrorist attack took place in Mumbai. The Mumbai administration was planning to act upon such plan. It was near to finalize the last rituals according to the Islamic traditions when the Muslim council Trust of Mumbai adopted a hard resolution. The Muslim council Trust gave a strict direction to all the grave yard committees of Mumbai in writing to not to allow to bury the terrorists in any of the grave yards. The Muslim Council Trust wrote in this letter that the deeds of the terrorists are anti- Muslim. There is no place of terrorism in the Islam and it is strictly prohibited. So the grave yard should not be made unholy by burying the terrorist there.

It is known that 183 persons lost their lives in this terror attack. Out of them 40 belonged to the Muslim community, 64 Muslims were injured. The 40 Muslims who died in the terror attack were given proper place in the Muslim grave yard in Mumbai. But the 9 Muslims being from Muslim religion are not being given place in the Muslim grave yard by the Muslim community. Perhaps it is the first chance that a community is showing its anger even after the death of the persons. This decision of the Mumbai Muslims is being appreciated by almost all the groups of the Muslims in India. The religious minded person's who used to be happy by performing the unclaimed last rituals of the Muslims are keeping themselves away from them. The persons who used to perform the last rituals say that the Mumbai administration may throw the dead bodies of the terrorist in the sea or throw it in the open as the meal of the eagles or crows. But these persons who did these anti- Islamic & and anti Muslim activities who have insulted the teachings of the Islam and insulted the Muslim society, have no room in the Muslim grave yard.

Indian Muslims also decided not to celebrate their important religious festival Id-Ul-Zuha with zeal & happiness this year. Prominent Muslim religious clergy, saints & important Muslim organizations appealed the Muslims to celebrate the festival with simplicity & in sorrowful atmosphere. This is first time when Indian Muslim leaders have made such type of appeal. In their appeal, they advised all the Imams of the Mosques to pay homage to the martyrs of Indian security services & the victims of Mumbai attacks after the prayers of Id-Ul-Zuha all over the country.

Besides, the Indian Muslims in great number without any call by the political organizations organized a peace- March on last December 7 & 8 on the Chatarpati Shivaji Terminal (VT) railway station in Mumbai. All this was to oppose the terrorism. This peace March ended at Hotel Oberoi Trident. All the groups of the Muslim community joined this large assembly. In this rally the slogan raised were the terrorists are enemies of our nation, our enemies, and killers of the innocents and foes of the Muslims. In this peace march the Muslim religious leader's scholars and particular Muslims criticized and condemned organizations such as Al-Qaida, Lashkare-e- taiba, Jaish-e-Mohamad, Indian Mujahideen and SIMI and said that these were spreading terrorism in the world. The speakers demanded to ban these organizations. The Indian Muslim even aimed at Osama Bin laden, Aiman al Jawahire, Hafiz saeed and Masood Azhar. These were called self styled leader who were enemy of the Islam and the humanity. Not only this, the examples were cited from the Quran Shareef and it was tried to prove in this rally that the Islam was a religion that followed peace, harmony and brotherhood. There in so place for the person who spread hatred in it. These are news that such rallies were organized by the Muslim community in Delhi, Hydrabad, Banglore, Lucknow, Faizabad and many other parts of India.

The terror incident in Mumbai has moved a main centre of the Muslims that is Lucknow. The Shiites and the Sunnies adopted a united path and their leaders talked together to oppose the terrorism. The moulvies in Lucknow wrote a letter to the newly appointed Home minister of India P. Chidambaram and asked him to take strict action against the terrorism. They assured their full help by the Muslim community. However the ulemas in Lucknow seemed some what angry by saying that some active communal parties in India accuse the Muslims to be pro- Pakistan. But these blames of theirs proved to be a planned conspiracy to affront the Muslims and nothing else. There are clear directions in the Islam religion that every Muslim ought to be faithful to his country. Every Muslim should give his first priority to the country and religion is afterwards. The terrorists are misusing the word Jihad. The persons re not followers of Jihad but they are the persons who encourage quarrels. Not Jehadis, but Fasadis' they are.

The Indian Muslims have stood shoulder to shoulder whenever there arose any trouble to the country but the anger expressed on the roads by the Indian Muslim society and the Muslim Ulemas surpassed all the previously shown. Last days, in this year, by the three big national gathering, the Indian Muslims society has issued Fatwa's against terrorism. This time the Indian Muslims and Ulemas have asked the government of India that if it has the list of the terrorist hideouts or their training camps, it should, immediately take steps to destroy them. It should be hoped that the Indian Muslims unity against terrorism will prove a challenge against the would be terror attacks and the organization that sometimes doubts the integrity of the Indian Muslim will not get a chance to ignore the zeal of the national love among the Indian Muslims.
