2nd Annual Bawcomville Redneck Christmas Parade (Naar West Monroe, Louisiana)

Daniel Taverne
The 2nd Annual Bawcomville Redneck Christmas Parade was a success. People from near and far lined the parade route to witness, gasp, and laugh at the many "interesting" redneck entrants that passed bye.

The parade, an event organized to provide Christmas toys to disadvantaged area children, left Riser Middle School´s parking lot shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday, December 6th and took almost an hour to complete.

In addition to the goal of providing toys, the unusual theme of this parade, just as last year's, seemed to garner broad support from around the state; spurring rednecks from all walks of life to participate.
