Don't Ignore Early Warning Signs, Get a Hemorrhoid Cure Fast
Home remedies have been able to correct mild to less severe hemorrhoids. However, the crux of the problem lies in how the patient handles his or her life after he gets properly cured. In case the person has not been able to adopt wholesome life style changes after he or she has been completely cured, hemorrhoids will relapse and this time with increased severity.
Home remedies include:
Having warm or sitz baths many times a day in plain, warm water for about 15-20 minutes
Ice packs to help reduce swelling
Alternating warm and cold treatment on the affected area.
Applying jelly, cortisone creams, hemorrhoidal cream to the affected area
Wearing cotton underwear and loose clothing
Cleaning the anus thoroughly after each bowel movement by with moist soft toilet paper or moistened pads.
Avoid sitting and standing in the same posture for long periods.
But there are certain types of hemorrhoids that may not respond to home remedies. To address such cases, there are some other techniques to cure the hemorrhoids:
For treatment of internal hemorrhoids, one of five methods is usually used:
1. Rubber Band Ligation - This hemorrhoid cure involves placing a small elastic band at the base of the internal hemorrhoid. The band stops blood supply to the hemorrhoid, causing it to wither away and fall off in about four to seven days time. This treatment normally requires two to four sittings and is undertaken after periodic gaps.
2. Sclerotherapy - This hemorrhoid cure involves injecting a chemical solution near the hemorrhoid. This chemical results in inflammation and is responsible for closure of the veins which ultimately shrink the hemorrhoid.
3. Infrared Photocoagulation - This procedure involves pointing an infrared light to coagulate the inflamed veins of the hemorrhoid. As blood supply can not flow through the coagulated veins, this causes the hemorrhoids to shrink and fall off.
4. Laser Coagulation - This procedure involves the applying laser on affected hemorrhoids. The laser beam triggers a chemical reaction that stops the blood supply in the hemorrhoid and causes the swollen tissue to shrink and withers away.
5. Hemorrhoidectomy - Through this procedure hemorrhoid masses are surgically removed from the anal canal. Procedure is performed with a special probe anoscope & scalpel. Normally up to 95 % of times it is successful. Complications does arise later on but if proper post operative care is taken then complications can be taken care of.
For external hemorrhoids cure, one of three methods is used. Surgical method however is rarely used in case of external hemorrhoids.
1. Infrared Photocoagulation
2. Laser Coagulation
3. Hemorrhoidectomy
