Wrestling Singlet and Attires

All the leading manufacturers of sporting clothes have always gone through a dilemma about the right type of wrestling clothes. Its design, construction, etc have always been a topic to discuss. It is important in wrestling that there is a balance between functionality, appearance & comfort. However there are some developments in the recent past that have eased off the pressure as far as wrestling gears are concerned. These are the growth of sublimation and growing popularity of materials like Lycra.
Spandex & Lycra clothing have brought nice changes in wrestling singlets. These are actually considered, by many, as the perfect cloth for wrestling attire. Earlier, nylons and polyesters were used to make wrestling gears but they were not very durable and also were a bit heavy. Because of these properties it became very difficult to be comfortable in them. On the other hand, Lycra is lightweight and comfortable and can stretch itself to take body´s shape. However there is one negative point to them as well. There is a kind of embellishment of them. Because the fabric can be stretched, they can present some problems with embellishment. At first the screen printing seems to be perfect but as the cloth stretches itself, the paint does not. Thus, the ink gets worse every time. Solution to this problem was given by embroidery in which the design was sewn in the cloth. But here the stitches that were made can be very abrasive to the wrestler.
The sublimation growth has solved this problem up to a certain extent. Not just this but it has solved some other problems as well. It is possible to complete sublimation in infinite colors. There is no limit to the graphic capabilities that are possible. All the logos and prints are directly dyed on the cloth and it is soft. The main thing about sublimation is that the print remains as long as the fabric remains intact. This development has truly changed the wresting attire forever. Now they are more comfortable and elastic than they ever were.
To sum it all, it is now possible for the manufacturers to produce clothes that are just perfect for a wrestling singlet. The manufacturers should not only aim at modifying the clothes but also the logos and imprints on them too. This way, wrestlers would get what they want and the manufacturers will enjoy their profits. It surely is a win-win situation.
