Service Dog
Guide dogs can help blind people to navigate through their way, help them in crossing road, boarding a bus or train. They are well trained for this purpose but a slight distraction can be risky for the owner but these dogs are in huge demand as they somehow provide moral support to the owners. They are like eyes for the blind owner. In house also, they can help in showing ways to different rooms and climbing stairs. Signal dogs are very specifically trained for responding to any sound. They respond to fire and danger alarms, phone bells, and house door rings and babies cry. They are used by deaf people to provide an indication of any sound. Guard dogs help in body guarding people and protecting them from strangers or any suspects. They are also used for protecting herds from Wolf. Therapy dogs are used in hospitals to pull wheel chair and cheer up the patients. Service dogs are permitted to enter public places and transportation as well. Usually a certificate or some identification is provided by the service dog´s organization to allow them enters public malls and places. All the service dogs initially go through obedience training followed by specific purpose training. Obedience training includes paper training, crate training so that the dog behaves in a social way with the owner. They know when to eat, where to sleep, where to go for urination as it would be very difficult to handle any such situation by handicapped people. Service dogs are also used by several multi national companies to guard the premises during night by sitting outside.
