Dogs are the best companions of man and have served humans from the beginning of civilization. They are social animals and are intelligent enough to understand humans. Although they cannot communicate with us in our language and it is difficult to communicate with them but they can respond to the symbolic language of humans. Dogs can serve us in many ways if they are properly trained. They have been used for protecting, guarding and herding. These dogs for sale are known as working dogs. They are used as hunting dogs, guard dogs, fighting dogs, tracking dogs, sled dogs, rescue dogs, cadaver searching dogs, detection dogs, war dogs, therapy dogs, signal dogs and police dogs.

Seeing Eye dogs are guide dogs. Dogs that are registered and trained at Seeing Eye Inc of Morristown are ideally called as Seeing Eye dogs. Guide dog is a generic term used for Seeing Eye dog. Seeing Eye dogs are dogs that help visually impaired people. They help them to navigate through the roads and cross roads, walk on pavements. Although the dogs are color blind and they can not differentiate between green and red so it is difficult for them to follow traffic signals but they have the common sense to understand the flow of traffic and hence can help to commute their blind owners. Seeing Eye dogs are like eyes to blind people, they provide mental support and can actually see the world through theirs pets eye. However other breeds like poodles, Dobermans, collies, boxers and vizslas are used for this purpose. The most important in raising a Seeing Eye dog is obedience training and guide specific training.


All dogs are given obedience training but the dogs that are used specifically for this purpose are given aggressive training for guiding. They are first of physically checked in all situation to test the temperament of dog and if the dog is healthy and physically sound. Once the training to dog be given then a mutual training to the visually impaired owner and dog is given in harmony to make use to of each other. It is important for the dog to maintain the concentration as a slight distraction can prove to be dangerous for the owner.
