Although Oahu, Hawaii vacation home rentals are probably the most popular places to stay when visiting Hawaii, the Big Island has the most area to cover and the most variety of experiences of all the islands. The Big Island is divided up into different regions by the three volcanoes that run down the middle of the island. The western side of the island is called the Kona side of the island, and is where Kona, Hawaii vacation rental homes are located.

Three Hundred Days of Sunshine

Since Kona Hawaii vacation rental homes and condos are located on the lee side of the island, there is rarely rain on that side of the island, making it the perfect place for sun seekers since it gets sun three hundred of the three hundred sixty-five days per year.
