The Miniature Schnauzer is a breed of small dog of the Schnauzer type that originated in Germany in the mid-to-late 19th century.
Its weighs around 13-15 lbs and grows up to the height of 12-14 inches. They are of Salt and pepper, black and silver, or black in color
The Miniature Schnauzer is a small, squarely-proportioned dog with a long head, bushy beard, mustache and eyebrows. The oval eyes are dark colored, and the v-shaped ears .Miniature Schnauzers developed from crosses between the Standard Schnauzer and one or more smaller breeds such as the Poodle or Affenpinscher. The Miniature Schnauzer enjoys time and companionship from its owner. Without the proper leadership, it can be feisty and fairly dog-aggressive - putting on a show of superiority without necessarily intending to fight.
The Miniature Schnauzer is generally well mannered and very obedient making him a great student. Miniature Schnauzers are good learners if trained properly.
