Well Done Americans!

Once again Americans have set the pace in showing that they are always in the lead while others copy. I must congratulate all the voters for eschewing their racial differences and speaking with one voice. This is indeed living by example.
America has for the second time in politics shown their maturity and openness, reflecting that there is really no more racial or color prejudice in the 'God's own country'. I am not denying that there are still pockets of people who are still struggling to let go. The black Americans also should get to that level where they absolve themselves of the complex caused by past racism and stop aggresseive attitudes towards the whites. The latter has done so much to make up for the past mistakes of their predecessors by opening their borders. Let us blacks also reciprocate. This pops a question in my heart: if blacks were the original founders of America, by now would we have been able to accommodate others? Let us reflect over these and try and watch out for one another irrespective of color or race.
The first being when Governor Arnold Schwarzneger (forgive me for the spelling please)was voted in as a Governor, himself being a settled migrant. Though this trend had for sometime now been demonstrated among christians who had broken that barrier for sometime now. You see black and white Ministers working in harmony. This has spilled over into the fabrics of the society even into the political arena.
Another lesson now goes to those who are personally inhibiting themselves only to turn back and cry wolf, giving flimpsy excuses of how they are under - performing because of their color. All one needs is clear vision of what one really wants to accomplish; passion and determination. From henceforth let no black American hide under the covering of color to fail. God bless America. God bless and preserve The President - Elect, Senator Barrack Obama. God bless the charming outgoing president, George Bush!
