Colonial Relic ´Ethiopia´ Shattered Down as Oromo Rebellion Spreads throughout Oromia

Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis
Recent developments throughout the Horn of Africa region bear witness to the advancing decomposition of the monstrous state of fake ´Ethiopia´ in which Amhara and Tigray Monophysitic (Tewahedo) Abyssinians annexed the occupied lands of numerous subjugated nations, namely the Oromos, the Ogadenis, the Sidamas, the Afars, the Kaffas, the Shekachos, the Kambaatas, the Gedeos, the Hadiyas, the Wolayitas, the Anuak, the Nuer, the Shinasha, the Berta, the Gumuz and the Agaws.

Defeated in Somalia, deadly beaten in Ogaden, and constrained to collect their corpses from their shameful pseudo-embassy at Hargeisa (the hypothetical capital of the pseudo-state Somaliland), the criminal and inhuman elites of the Amhara and Tigray Monophysitic (Tewahedo) Abyssinians leave the dead bodies of their gangsters in the eastern provinces of the occupied Oromia whereby the military wing of the OLF, the glorious Oromo Liberation Army (OLA), has engaged in an heroic confrontation with the death squads of the appalling Zenawi regime.

At the same time, and as it usually happens in the last months of dictatorships, the regime reacts with additional violence, which in turn brings its end faster. The imprisonment of a great number of Oromo civilian by the criminal gangsters of the - shameful interlocutor of Ass. Secretary Jendayi Frazer - tyrant Zenawi testifies to the agony of the Amhara and Tigray criminal accomplices who know that the ultimate dismemberment of the world´s most hated state will bring joy to all the nations they subjugated and will spread further discord and strife among them, once they will be confined in their arid lands of Amhara and Tigray.

Not a single Amhara and Tigray will be left in Finfinnee (fallaciously called Addis Ababa) or simply put in territories out of the Amhara and Tigray regions. I republish here several press releases issued over the few past days by the OLF and a report published by Barry Malone (for Reuters) that outline the tragic situation in which the evil plan of ´Ethiopianism´, a racist agenda inciting for serial genocides, has plunged the outright majority (82 – 83 %) of country´s populations.

Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) Registers another Glaring Victory: Puts 73 Enemy Troops out of Action!

http://www.oromoliberationfront.org/News/2008/OLA%20Registers%20another%20Glaring%20Victory.html

October 22, 2008 (OLF News): The Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) Eastern Command

reported that our gallant freedom fighters have killed 31 and seriously

wounded over 42 TPLF invading troops on October 31, 2008 in Eastern Oromia,

Western Harargee Zone, in the district of Gabiibaa at a place known as

Waldaya at the rivers of Saaqataa and Raammis. The enemy troops who are

spared from the OLA attack were forced to flee from the area in disarray

after picking up its casualties by helicopter.

After the battle the enemy troops are said to move away the local people,

from their village called Cophii Miyaawaa, and picking up their remaining

casualties by helicopter. It is reported that they moved the local people

away from their homes and villages when they pick up their wounded troops

because they wanted to hide their defeat from the population.

In this operation, as in the previous operations, our freedom fighters have

captured several AK-47 guns, hand grenades, and ammunitions and made the

property of the Oromo liberation struggle.

It is to be recalled that OLF News reported that:

on October 18, 2008 OLA freedom fighters killed 10 and wounded 5

enemy troops in the Western Harargee Zone.

on October 08, 2008 OLA fighters killed 3 and wounded 2 in Eastern

Harargee Zone.

OLA eastern command added that our freedom fighters will continue their

attack on the invading Woyane troops until liberation. Stay tuned with OLF

News for the news of the result of the OLA attacks to come.

Ethiopia Arrests Opposition Leader, Journalist Hurt

Addis Ababa, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Ethiopia said on Monday an opposition leader had been arrested for working with insurgent groups opposed to Prime Minister Meles Zenawi's government.

The Oromo Federalist Democratic Movement (OFDM) confirmed its general secretary Bekele Jirata was picked up on Thursday as he was going to his Addis Ababa office in what it called an abuse of rights.

"He was working hand-in-glove with terrorists," Bereket Simon, special advisor to Meles, told Reuters.

"It is proven he had links with groups like the OLF."

One of various rebel movements in the huge Horn of Africa nation, the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) has been fighting for independence for the southern Oromo region since 1993.

The Ethiopian government routinely accuses arch-foe Eritrea of backing the rebel group with training and financial support.

Opposition groups say they are constantly harassed by the government despite operating within the law.

"At this time, we are unable to have any meaningful dialogue with the authorities who ordered the detention," OFDM chairman Bulcha Demeksa told Reuters in an e-mail.

"The constitution and other human rights laws would have been our guarantor, but...this is not the case in Ethiopia".

The OFDM in April accused the government of intimidation as voters went to the polls for the first time since post-election violence in 2005 killed 199 civilians.

The party said most of their candidates in the April local elections had been threatened and forced to pull out of the race. They ran less than two percent of their originally proposed candidates.

In a separate incident, Amare Aregawi, editor of Ethiopia's well-known Reporter newspaper, was attacked by two men as he left a parent-teacher meeting at his son's school in Addis Ababa on Friday, colleagues said.

"They jumped him from behind and hit him with rocks," said a senior editor at the Reporter, who asked not to be named.

"They tried to kill him. We knew there had been death threats but we never thought it would come to this".

Amare was arrested in August after a large brewery brought a libel complaint against the newspaper but was released five days later on payment of bail.

The Reporter is one of Ethiopia's largest circulation publications and its editorials are often critical of Ethiopian government policy.

Amare was in hospital being treated for serious head injuries after he was knocked unconscious by his attackers.

Media watchdog Reporters Without Borders demanded an investigation, saying a show of firmness would convince others tempted to use "violence to settle scores with the press that such behaviour would not go unpunished."

Local media said two men had been arrested for the attack, one assailant and a taxi-driver used for a getaway. Police were not immediately available to confirm that. (Editing by Jon Boyle)

Widespread Arrest of Renowned Oromos Continued in Finfinnee (Addis Ababa )!

http://www.oromoliberationfront.org/News/2008/Widespread%20Arrest%20of%20Renowned%20Oromos.html

(OLF News, November 2, 2008). Ethiopian TPLF/ Wayyaanee forces continued arresting well known Oromo nationals and throwing them to jail, our sources reported.

Reporters of OLF News from Finfinnee( Addis Ababa ) confirmed that well known and respected Oromo nationals:

1. Owner of the famous Hawi Hotel in Finfinnee Mr. Eshetu Kitil,

2. Secretary of the Oromo Federalist Democratic Movement Mr. Baqqalaa Jiraataa,

3. Wife of journalist Dhaabasaa Waaqjiraa who has been in prison for a long time Mrs. Lelisee Wadaajoo are among those thrown to jail by the TPLF/EPRDF regime farces.

While our reporters are unable to verify exactly how many Oromos have been taken to Maikelawi jail in this new wave of arrest, they verified that 15 new people were arrested on Friday, October 31, 2008 and have been brutally tortured in the prison as usual. The 15 prisoners were reported to have been taken to Arada primary court for a brief moment, and then are reportedly ordered to come back to the court after 15 days and are taken back to Maikelawi prison, no doubt for another round of torture. Stay tuned with OLF news for more details.

It is to be recalled that the TPLF/Wayyaanee "security" forces with plain clothes rounded up the residence of Mrs Lelise Wodajo, and arrested her husband Dhaabasaa Waaqjiraa on May 1, 2004, and took various documents, Video cameras and recorders which belongs to Mr Dhaabasaa Wakjira.

It is reported that the relatives of Mrs Lelisee Wodajo went to visit her by taking food to the Maikelawi prison but were denied seeing Mrs Lelisee by the Maikelawi police. Our reporter who went to the Maikelawi prison main gate on November 1, 2008 morning to hear about their situation have known from those who got access to speak with their relatives that the prisoners have experienced a brutal beating the previous night. Our reporter feared that the reason that Mrs. Lelisee is denied a visit from her relatives is probably because she was badly hurt by the beatings and torture of the night before, and the police wanted to hide what happened to her.

The EPRDF/TPLF Security Agents continued their Arrest and Intimidation of Innocent Oromos!

http://www.oromoliberationfront.org/News/2008/TPLF%20Security%20Agents%20continued%20their%20Arrest.html

(OLF News, October 31, 2008) A report we received from Finfinnee ( Addis Ababa ) confirmed that the Ethiopian Woyane/TPLF government has arrested the Afan Oromo TV program of ETV, secretariat typist Lelise Wodajo.

According to our sources, the TPLF security force has arrested Mrs, Lalise Wadajo Fida (Mr, Dhabasas Wajiras wife) from Ethiopian Television center the place where she works, and they took her to TPLF Maikelawi Investigation Center, on October 30,2008 at about mid day (yesterday) in capital, Addis Ababa.

According to our informants, after they arrest Mrs Wadajo from her work place, they took her to her home and after that her house is confiscated by Wayane TPLF security force. At the moment her children Jitu, Bonsen Dhabasa and Bethelim Dawit are suffering without guardian.

Mrs Lalise Wodajo is among the 60 Afan Oromo TV journalists, who were recently expelled from job as the consequence of the shut down of Afan Oromo program from ETV transmission since September 12, 2008. At this time, 60 Oromo journalists are denied entrance to the office of the Ethiopian Television Station.

It is to be recalled that OLF News has reported that as a consequence of the shut-down of the ETV Afan Oromo program the Oromo people are now denied access to information and international news and are forced to listen and watch only the propaganda of the OPDO, which is a puppet Oromo organization completely controlled by Meles Zenawi and the TPLF. The decision to shut down the Afan Oromo TV program from the federal level ETV programs is made to limit the growth and radius of influence of Afan Oromo making it inaccessible to non-Oromos and Oromos living outside of Oromia, once again an attempt to reduce or eliminate the Oromo people and their language Afan Oromo from the empire and the face of the earth.

The relatives of Mrs Lelise Wodajo appealed that all Oromos leaving at home and abroad, all governmental, non-governmental, and humanitarian organizations put pressure on the Ethiopian authorities for the injustice arrest, confiscation of property and for the life of their children who are left without parent, food and shelter.
