LA Times Exposes Lies from Yes on Prop 8 Campaign

Newswire Services
The Los Angeles Times today ran an editorial very critical of the Yes on Prop 8 Campaign comparing it to a "magicianīs act" which distracts the audience to "something attention grabbing but irrelevant so that no one notices what the magician is really doing."

Californians should vote NO on Proposition 8 because, the Times, says, "It seeks to change the state constitution in a rare and terrible way … to deprive a targeted group of people of civil rights that are now guaranteed."

The article takes apart the claim that schools must teach about gay marriage and that private adoption services must place children with lesbian and gay couples. Clearly the proponents of Prop 8 have decided that the use of half-truths to advance their religious agenda is more important that truth, integrity and respect for human rights, which many people believe are the core values of any religion.

The bigotry and deceitfulness can be stopped by voting NO on California PROP 8 this Election Day. You can read the LA Times editorial here.
