Since I have had much on the job training in ordering the severity of need in active ERs across America & in New Zealand, Africa & other foreign countries as well, I am going to roll out an American Agenda I think is important to fulfill.
I am ordering the priorities I see as the MOST urgent, followed by the next most urgent & so forth. In clinical work for all First Responders, & professional care givers at every level & within every setting this is a process we call TRIAGE.
Ordering the severity of need through a disciplined process of assessment by clinicians trained to sustain & uphold LIFE.
It is a term borrowed from the French, & a process born out of necessity when attending to life threatening injuries sustained in war.
This is not a politically generated list. It is a Clinical Problem List generated by a Health Care Clinician. It applies to ALL, regardless of sex, religious preference or none at all, economic status, or any other category or label that can lead to discrimination.
It is about Principles over Personalities.
1. CRIME- We need to address crime being committed anywhere by anyone. Crime involving violence first. Crime involving peoples' properties & monies next. Crime ESPECIALLY within the Government, perpetrated by intelligent powerful people who should & DO know better.
Those levels of crime need to be arrested, prosecuted & punished with the most severe consequences, including in some cases the death penalty. I look to the State of New Hampshire for such a model. I agree with giving a lethal injection to those who have harmed officers of the law or the Court to the point of death. In this, I draw upon old fashioned values derived from sacred scriptures within the Judeo Christian tradition Our Forefathers & Foremothers established & envisioned. When someone walks into an office of huge resposibility & service to the Nation, & betrays that huge trust to such an extent that it kills thousands of people over time, that individual or group of individuals deserves the death penalty & to be charged with high crimes against America. With treason. And sedition against We the People.
Unchecked crime, unchecked corruption within Police Departments or any branch of the military sullies the reputation of the whole & as we see in our global village, sends confidence in the American way down a horrible spiral of recession & doubt & fear. It is a well known FACT that financial difficulties are often a precursor; to depression & suicides. PREVENTABLE deaths.
2.Mother Nature v Pharmaceuticals. The shift in paradigm Mother Nature & all the earth & elemental spirits is driving forward is the battle the Pharmaceutical industry has declared on Mother Nature.
My personal advice to my own family is; take no pills whenever possible & get your nutrition, your pleasure & your joy from a whole foods natural healthy diet. Get exercise, get rest, bathe, & pursue your bliss. That is a recipe for happiness that has been tested over millenia of time.
And to end the war, encourage those trained in the pharmacy industry who will be losing their jobs as American consumers purchase less pharmaceuticals over time to TRANSFER those skill sets to Naturaceuticals. Encourage properly trained Eastern Medical practioners from China & other Asian nations to expand offerings in education; online, in schools & universities & libraries so it is easily accessible.
If we look at the schizophrenic paradox the advertising industry puts into our homes we can see that there is a simple solution. And it is Nancy Reagan's! Just say NO to drugs. Prescription drugs of any kind. Take a fast. Unless you are an insulin dependent diabetic...
PREVENTION of illness, especially iatrogenic (fancy word for medically created or hospital created illness & disease). Virtually 90 % of this can be reduced. Just don't take pills, snort pills, take drugs a doctor attempts to prescribe you for pain or smoking cessation. Try ALTERNATIVE remedies first. You can AVOID serious problems with addictive substances this way entirely. Use the massage therapists, chiropractors, naturopaths in your area to enhance your health & wellness. Then you do not need excessive or costly health coverage because you won't be spending much time in the hospital!
Those trained pharmacists know a great deal about proper storage of remedies with active ingredients designed to help you heal. They know about bottling & labeling practices & how important proper record keeping is. They can learn more about herbs, herbal tinctures, applied lotions & potions for the skin, back plasters & other forms of local treaments for specific areas of the body that do not travel through the whole system. This will reduce unecessary & avoidable side effects.
I will use the drug campaign Chantix for an example. Chantix one day not long ago ran an ad on a major network during the early morning news hours. On another station, a cable station, a law firm is running an ad soliciting folks who have felt suicidal or committed suicide after taking Chantix to contact a law firm for compenstion. Let's lay aside the absurdity that you can not call anyone when you are dead & look at the hypocrisy & idiocy of that! In Vermont we have a free Help line for those ready to quit. And you aren't going to if you do not WANT to. So your own FREE will has everything to do with your odds for success. But Helplines, hotlines & group support go a LONG way to hasten recovery from ANY addictive substance, including, cigarettes, alcohol, & opiate drugs & narcotics. LESS IS MORE. Spend more time developing social & empathic skills. They will enrich your life.
3.Order a FULL AUDIT of ALL laws passed by the Administration we are within a week of voting out. Including any secret Executive Orders that have been drafted. And publish them in a website where Americans can be polled & those least popular or effective can be immediately repealed. Keep it SIMPLE sweethearts. Clear communications mediated by modern computers & printers in our Courts & professional offices, vigorous enforcement of all laws that deter & hinder & prevent violent crime by any individual or group, & a thorough examination of the wretched refuse & garbage left by an impotent & out of touch Commander in Chief is what this Clinician thinks is in order for the next few months.
4. Finally PAY our debtors. Right now America is in fact indebted to China, Japan, some Arab kingdoms & nations, & other foreign nations. Just as you do not own your own home until the mortgage is fully paid in traditional banking systems & culture, so it is with our own America. It is not really ours right now financially. We are OWNED by our debtors. In a very practical material way. Through monetary arrangements worked out in secret cultic societies by misogynists & people haters in general who have cared for nothing but themselves. Greedy FRAUD.
We can, according to sane Fair Trade laws pay our debtors back over time in a civilized & sane way. We can structure those payments over a 20 year period, as we can in this country. We do not have to bow our heads in shame, but we DO have to restore honor & trust within the international community or global village we live in. That is only fair. And fair is what every kid I ever met from any country ever wanted, male or female.
We can be TRUE to our schools. We can LIVE the honor codes we took on. Whether the insignia of the school is Harvard or the Naval Academy. We just can NOT suffer more high crimes in high offices. Enough is enough already!
