High Speed Motorcycle Crash Closes I-5

According to reports by California motorcycle injury lawyers, a motorcycle crash that occurred on Interstate 5 in the vicinity of National City. The crash occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. south of Eight Street that caused the National City police to stop traffic at Civic Center Drive in the northbound lanes.


According to reports witnesses stated the motorcycle was going approximately 100 mile per hour prior to the crash. It is also believed that there was a second motorcyclist that stopped and picked up the rider of the crashed motorcycle according to the California Highway Patrol. Interstate 5 was closed in the motorcycle crash vicinity while officers investigated the scene of the accident and planned to reopen the freeway shortly.
