A Small Business is Thinking Big

In today's highly competitive marketplace, it makes good business sense to separate yourself from the competition. Several new websites are now offering small businesses the ability to create their own weekly internet radio show.

One of the sites I really like for this practice is ISYSinnervision.com.

The site allows you to host your own radio show and all you need is a standard telephone or Skype on your computer and a $29 headset from Walmart.

My friend Laurie, a massage therapist and Bach Flower practitioner has decided to start her own radio show and her clients are thrilled. Her strategy is to share the information her clients want, share it once and then direct them to the ISYS website. ISYS will archive several of her shows so it will be easy for her to refer her clients to the show that best fits their needs whether it is massage, Bach Flowers, Skin Care etc.

The radio show is broken down into three 17 minute segments and professionaly produced by a sound engineer. Laurie can record her show live or decide to pre-tape if she has something going on during her regular show time. Best of all, she is writing several articles about skincare, massage, and Bach Flower Remedies that are going to be published in ISYS's sister publication Mystic Pop Magazine. She is also creating a website through ISYS Dimensions so that the products she is talking about on air can be purchased on-line.

Each small business must decide for itself the best use of time and money. Time will tell if this is a wise investment for Laurie. It certainly sounds as if this local Las Vegas small business owner, is thinking in a very big way.
