The Stock Market Hokey Pokey

Michael Levy
Many years ago, in jolly old England, the words, Hokey Pokey, referred to dishonesty, swindling, cunning and conniving.

Later in time, the terminology changed to hocus-pocus. It became a common term for tricksters, conjurers or snake oil salesmen. It set in plain words the ideas of underhandedness and deceitfulness.

Sometime in the last century a dance was formed in the UK with the name Hokey Pokey or Hokey Cokey ... In today's world, the USA investment community have conjured up many new types of deceptions and thus given birth to The Stock Market Hokey Pokey ...Enjoy the dance!

The Stock Market Hokey Pokey

With the out of tune tempo of media fear mongers

And out of rhythm timing of financial experts …

You put heaps of your hard-earned cash right in

You take your depleted money right out

You put more of your cash right in

And you shake your fearful brains all about

You do the Stock Market Hokey Pokey

And you turn yourself around

That's what it's all about.

As the erroneous media beat pounds faster

And misguided expert guidance changes pace

You put all what you have left in

You take the little you have left out

You put everything you have left in

And you shake your doom filled head all about.

You do the Stock Market Hokey Pokey

And you turn yourself around

That's what it's all about.

You put your sane-self in

You take your insane-self out

You put your irrational-self back in

And you shake trepidation all about

You do the Stock Market Hokey Pokey

And you turn yourself inside out

You lose all your money that you put in

Crying all the way to the bank whose lights have gone out

There is zero left to put in

So, there´s nothing right to shake about

That's my friends is what

Erroneous, self-serving, media expert advice is all about.

Well, it may be, what it is all about, for many people, but you do not need to lose money by investing in the stock market hocus-pocus generated by fear mongering propaganda of misguided experts. Volatility brings with it great opportunity to make large amounts of money for people with a longer time horizon than what is dancing around them at any given moment.

Many media investment experts change like the weather. They will give a prediction about a stock and when it moves in the opposite direction of what they first expressed, they will come up with an opposite viewpoint, as if they never uttered their first prediction. This effects the emotions of the viewers and they dance to the melodies of panic and alarm. If you endure dancing to the rhythms of greed, fear and doom, then you may find the orchestra has left the room along with Elvis and you are right in the middle of your own investments demise.

However, if you enjoy the dance of the stock market Hokey Pokey, without expert driven, greed, fear and doom dominating your emotions, you will be in the right mood for prosperity. You will understand that the wise, intelligent, value investor always dances to the beat of an authentic drummer ... When you keep a good percentage of your money in a safe guaranteed place, you can, with wisdom, invest the rest in sound companies with great management, no debt and world leading products and service. You can invest a sufficient amount of money without margin and be satisfied to take enough profit without waiting for a home run. In time, you will be well rewarded with, Top Ten Value Hits, that you took the time to research in a bona fide manner.

Every human being is born with a genius that can detect the difference between erroneous advice and authentic information. Think of it this way…

A cow and a snake are drinking the same water from the same river at the same time. However, one will produce milk the other poison.

Water can be likened to thoughts, which can be easily tainted if we allow the illusions of fear and greed to take the place of the true human nature of love and joy. The genius within recognizes the difference between people who live with good intent and those who are only out for greedy-self-gain.

One final point for living a prosperous lifestyle, employ your money for the benefit of all humanity and do good whenever and wherever you can. When you tune-in to the intuitive genius within, be aware, you have mastered the authentic steps to the ins and outs of the Stock Market Hokey Pokey that will continue to play its musical charades … Enjoy!
