Should the Shari´ah law be banned in Canada? Oct 14/08

With the sad news that Britain is allowing limited Shari-ah laws to over see the Islamic community, we must ask ourselves will Canada allow laws that clearly discriminate against others as Britain has?

To me there are just to many reasons why we need laws in Canada that would block and condemn any attempt at all of Shari-ah laws from forming inside our nation and bonding with our Justice system.

Sadiq Khan, who became minister for community cohesion in the government reshuffle this month, whose comments will have added impact because he is a Muslim himself, has also warned that the growing number of tribunals based on Islamic codes could entrench discrimination against women. (1)

Supporters of Islamic Shari courts point to the "beth din" courts long used by the Jewish community to resolve family disputes. However, Khan said Sharia courts could not be compared with the beth din.

Khan is right there. The Islamic Shari-ah laws are so backwards against today´s standards of freedoms for all religions and cultures. Why would we here in Canada allow the Islamic Shari-ah law´s to set up and operate an Islamic legal system to help Muslim Communities, when Canada has condemned these same laws? And why would we the people tolerate such racist and discriminating laws, to form part of our Canada? Will Canada eventually follow Islamic laws that tell us that there will be no tolerance allowed for anyone caught criticizing Islam or Islam´s false god, or Islam´s false prophets? For the most part Islamic laws teach to persecute Christians and Jews and to kill them. Why would we allow these or any part of Shari-ah laws in Canada to have dominion over any Canadian citizens?

Shari-ah laws have been a threat to the world since Muhammad made these laws by the will of his own heart to allow Muslims to rule over all non-Muslims. I know that it would not surprise most Canadians to learn that 9/11 was caused by Islamic teachings. Bin Laden himself a product of these same Islamic teachings. In fact Bin Laden declared Afghanistan an Islamic nation and that it would be governed under the Shari-ah law´s.

Now can it be proven that Shari-ah laws applied fully or partially in any Islamic society around the world today have been a disaster for the society at large, but more so for any Non Muslim or "Kafir" as we are called by Muslims? Choosing and introducing any part of the Shari-ah law to our civilized laws is like adding poison to a good soup.

Do you think that Canada is in a better place with Islam then the USA, and why?

Please talk to your newly elected MPs and let them know that we don´t want the Shari-ah laws in Canada. We need laws to have them Banned from Canada. You must get involved and you must think of ways to persuade others to write or visit their M.P.s. Help others to organize petitions and take them to meetings with your MP.

There is a lot at risk here please do your part.
