An open letter to John McCain and Sarah Palin

Gary Loftis
Dear Senator McCain and Governor Palin,

I am writing because you apparently didn´t hear the message in Wisconsin on Thursday. The good man with the mic was afraid -- as so many of us are -- of the socialist philosophy that the nationalization of America´s financial industry represents and the socialist programs that an Obama presidency portends.

You replied with some mumbo-jumbo about reaching out; then, you sent a meek little blonde spokesperson out on Friday morning to assure Fox News viewers that you are going to hang tough. Instead of hanging tough, you need to GET TOUGH and end Obama´s free ride. Since you and your campaign are apparently overcome with the need to be civil, I´ll tell you what I mean.

First, Bill Ayers is old news that isn´t getting traction. How might undecided voters accept the information that Senator Obama spent taxpayers´ money on a 2007 trip to Kenya, where he openly campaigned for his cousin, Raila Odinga, who was running for president of that country on a radical socialist, pro-muslim platform? And who, when he lost the election, fomented violence until the victor agreed to share power with him? There was nothing accidental or circumstantial about the Obama-Odinga connection; it is well documented in several books, including Jerome Corsi´s The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics an the Cult of Personality.

Next, since so few of American voters know what "community organizers" do, it might be helpful if you informed them about Saul Alinsky´s socialist principles that Obama taught fellow organizers in Chicago. If you need some background, see; http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/01/obamas_alinsky_jujitsu.html. Bring that up in the next debate and let him try to tap dance around it!

Since ACORN is in the news with their shoddy attempts to steal this election, how about mentioning that Obama was ACORN´s corporate counsel and asking him to comment on the current allegations? Stanley Kurtz can provide you background at: http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=NDZiMjkwMDczZWI5ODdjOWYxZTIzZGIyNzEyMjE0ODI=.

Finally, give Americans who want to vote FOR something that opportunity. Pledge to create an independent counsel to investigate how our economy got so far out of control and who allowed it to do so. Issue subpoenas, name names, convene grand juries, assess fines, and make the guilty pay. For too long, Congress and federal bureaucrats have patted us on the back while stealing us blind!

This is not an election, but a war with our very way of life at stake. We don´t need a Chamberlain; we need a Patton. Manners and civility will be forgotten November 5; the loser will eb relegated to the ash heap of history. If you continue campaigning as you have been, we will be yoked with a socialist president and a socialist Congress. This is your moment to shine. To paraphrase General George Patton, Lead, follow, or get out of the way!
