Representative McKinney Put On Your Body Armor

Tom DeLay called Representative Cynthia McKinney a ?racist.? Now, I would say that is quite a large step for someone who has had to step down from the House of Representatives because of ?political? issues. Of course his resignation has nothing to do with his implied involvement with Jack Abramoff. Right? Right. If you believe that, I?ve got some peaceful land in Iraq I can sell you, just east of Baghdad.

Did Representative McKinney hit the guard or not? No one saw it, at least no one has come forward to say they witnessed it. It?s a case of he said, she said. McKinney reports the official touched her inappropriately. What? Did he grab her by her armpits? What is an inappropriate touch? Depends on what neck of the woods you live in.

Besides, who cares? How important is this whole affair? If the official grabbed one of her breasts, I could understand why she smacked the guy. But, then again, if she refused to respond to his demands to ?stop,? perhaps he should have grabbed her boob and thrown her to the floor and read her, her rights. I don?t know. I tell my wife to stop and she hasn?t listened to me yet and she doesn?t allow me to touch her inappropriately.

Was it a racist act? Maybe, but is it worth spending taxpayer?s money for a court hearing? I doubt it. Although, taxpayers? money has been spent on many less worthy affairs in this country.

It was reported by CNN that the good Congresswoman dodged CNN?s morning news guru, Soledad O?Brien?s questions. Maybe she?s tired of trying to explain herself to thick-headed and slow witted anchorwomen?sorry Miles I didn?t mean to leave you out in the cold (it?s just not one of those technical space things that you know so much about).

Fact is, this is another one of those side stories that probably not too many people give a hoot about. If the good Congresswoman had a bomb strapped to her brassiere and screamed ?Viva Los Vegas,? that might be a newsworthy event. Or if the official that stopped her decided he would cuff her and do kinky things to her, I might be interested in knowing. To you my good Congresswoman I say, keep dodging Soledad?s questions and if Miles gets involved, run for the nearest space capsule and close the door.
