A Beautiful Awakening of Love...By a Man Told He is Dying.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
Being, and not possessing, is the great joy of living. People of character do the right thing, not because they think it will change the world but because they refuse to be changed by the world. Just as those who truly love, do so because they refuse to change the essence of who they truly are.
Please read each line of this qoute from Marianne Williamson, and may you turn your fear into love, and learn from the revelations I've had knowing death is so near;
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
Perhaps, your pain will not allow you to feel this, I understand. Know that our defenses reflect our wounds. But no person can heal those wounds. They can give us love, innocently and sincerely, but if we're already convinced that people can't be trusted--if that's the decision we've already made--then our mind will construe whatever someone's behavior is, as evidence that our previously drawn conclusion was correct.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by other people's thinking. A thought is harmless unless we believe it. It is not our thoughts, but the attachment to our thoughts, that causes suffering.
Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
We need not be afraid to touch, to feel, to show emotion. The easiest thing in the world is to be what you are, what you feel. The hardest thing to be is what other people want you to be. Just be yourself for a day.
What else have I learned in facing death, that I am a person who abhors waste - waste of time, waste of human potential. How much time we waste. As if we were going to live forever
Just a friendly reminder: We're not going to live forever! This isn´t a dress rehearsal!
Wake up.
Live. Love. Be. Dance. Smile. Laugh. Hug. Create.
