The combined position of CFO/DOO is responsible for assisting the CEO in leading and supporting the organization in its mission, and will contribute to furthering a culture of professional service and providing a level of support to a world class, highly respected organization that focuses on actions and results – in addition to responsibility for financial and accounting matters.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience, including senior level responsibility for oversight of staff, operations, and projects with a strong budget and financial management acumen.


A proven ability to improvise and a "roll up the sleeves" attitude along with familiarity with information management systems and professional IT staff will be a plus. The advantage will go to the candidate with an advanced degree in business or economics, experience in research or administration at a university, research department of an investment bank, or research institute, along with a strong interest in the areas of business, finance, economics and public policy. Some private sector, for profit, entrepreneurial experience will also be a plus.
