Election 2008: Hillary as the new kingmaker

With an exceptional speech on August 26, Hillary Rodham Clinton proved her class. She ensured all democratic enthusiasts that post primary Hillary is all in for making the dream come true.

Most impotently, she looked at the eyes of her 18 millions supporters. She told that it was never about her.

"Most of all, I ran to stand up for all those who have been invisible to their government for eight long years. Those are the reasons I ran for president, and those are the reasons I support Barack Obama for president."

She told that her causes are much larger then her. She told that the issues that she was fighting all life long, is much more important than she is.

She asked them the most obvious question.

"I want you to ask yourselves: Were you in this campaign just for me? Or were you in it for that young Marine and others like him? Were you in it for that mom struggling with cancer while raising her kids? Were you in it for that young boy and his mom surviving on the minimum wage? Were you in it for all the people in this country who feel invisible?"

For all the issues that she ever stood for, she asked her supporters to keep fighting.

"Don't ever stop. Keep going." She said.

How would they keep going? What does Hillary wants? She told that right upfront.

"But remember, before we can keep going, we have to get going by electing Barack Obama the next president of the United States.

We don't have a moment to lose or a vote to spare.

Nothing less than the fate of our nation and the future of our children hang in the balance."

She told the roaring crowds that the stakes are too high to seat idle or spare a moment to cry. She told that if you ever believed in her, vote for Barack Obama. She told that if you ever cared about what she is fighting for, come forward with everything you have and elect Barack Obama. We cannot let the future of our children to slip away for one more time. As Barack put it, "eight (years) is enough" for the crap.

All the time the republican slander machine told us that she is a divider not a uniter. This is the greatest slap in their face. She emerges as the greatest uniting force. She emerges when we needed her the most.

So what is now left for Republican attack machine? Well, they come up with the biggest slander of all. They are telling us that the choice of Sarah Palin as VP would bring HRC supporters in John McCain's side.

What they mean is that the 18 millions votes that Hillary got in primary were not for her being fit to run the oval office. Those votes were not for her life long fight for the issues that her supporters cared about most. Republican attack machine is telling us that all those votes were only because HRC was a woman. Now we give you a woman, so come here. The issues do not matter anymore. You can just cross out "Hillary" and write "Sarah". After all, they both are woman. As if, being a woman is the only reason women supported Hillary. What an insult to all women.

Well, Hillary has been fighting with the right wing slander machine all along. She will keep fighting and defeat it once more. She would not let the attack machine to hijack her supporters and give it to some one else just because she is a woman.

"Nothing less than the fate of our nation and the future of our children hang in the balance."
