Atheists Are The Most Hated Group In America

The ideal neighbor never knocks on your door passing out Gospel tracts; a good friend doesn't bug you all the time to attend his place of worship and a considerate co-worker refrains from plastering his cubicle walls with religious images.
There are a few million people who are never guilty of any of these transgressions, yet they are not regarded as upstanding American citizens.
Instead they are the most loathed group in America, I am referring to athiests, agnostics and freethinkers.
According to a study by the University of Minnesota sociologists, athiests are viewed as the group that least embodies the "vision of American society."
Even newly arrived immigrants are considered more American than atheists.
And atheists are the last people most folks would want their children to marry. If you're an atheist and meeting your girlfriend's parents for the first time, you'd be better off telling them that believe in jihad, rather than letting them know you are an atheist.
You can love your mom, wave the American flag and drive a Chevy, but if you don't believe in God --you are a hell bound subversive.
No atheist ever burned a "witch" at the stake, flew an airplane into a building to kill infidels or murdered a "godless" homosexual. Yet atheists are hated and reviled.
